Lets have the battle of two guys who dont even look like fighters: Kowanacki vs Nathan Gorman!!!!! Two guys who fight better than what they visually look like: two mid west out of shape club fighters!

I f'd that up! I meant to say, if your opponent is ripped, it's easier to see his punches, and which hand he's throwing! My bad!

Arreola had a high work rate and stamina, until he didn't anymore, and it wasn't because of age. He was basically done at world level before he was 30, and one of the things that stuck out the most to me was how he bragged about not needing to slim down. Then he ran into Vitali and it was all downhill from there.

Fat that you don't need makes you slower, and tires you out faster, and there's no way around that. You can look good young, but your body will pay the price sooner than later. Boxing is a sport that truly rewards professionalism. Just look at the run the Klitschko brothers had.

It disgusts me when a “pro” turns up with love handles and a pair of ****.
Fair enough you don’t need to be shredded, but at least have a flat stomach and show an ounce of professionalism. There’s no excuse, they are getting paid to turn up in shape to fight at the best of their ability.
If middle aged men who work full time jobs can manage to tone up for a beach holiday how can a young “athlete” not be bothered to

Kownacki is right, judges arent giving you points on the scorecard for having a 6 pack. This is a fight. Would you rather a fighter have 6 pack but gas in the 7th round? or have love handles and B**ch t*ts but can go a full hard 12?

That's the thing about heavyweight's. No need to make weight. Makes it way too easy to cheat on your diet and not train properly. Kownacki does seem to have good stamina but the flab will eventually cost him.

His issue was more the fact that he liked to block power shots with his skull and called it “defense”

There have always been big men in great shape though. Ruiz jr is one of the fastest in the division, Miller is a high volume guy, hell buster mathis was 300lbs at the Olympics and he didn’t move like it.

End of the day, these are heavyweight boxers not fitness models. If they can go 12 solid rounds looking how they want, go for it.

They’re getting paid to fight, not to walk a runway. If that’s what you want to see, watch pro wrestling, You put Joshua and Ruiz Jr. into training camp I guarantee Josh gasses first.

                      Anybody betting in this fight?

I think it might be competitive until Washington folds down due to the pressure by Kownacki. I see the polish guy by KO in the last rounds.
