No way, better take another look at that fight. Since the KD Andre had kovalev holding the rest of the fight cuz he was getting bullied with them body shots.

Ward got clearly outboxed and outfought. The excessive holding and Billy Goat style ramming into Kovalev saved Ward from getting knocked out. Ward should have been DQ’d , but of course Jay Z had both the ref the judges and Bob Bennet in his pocket to protect the great half and half hope.

Delayed the rematch announcement 3 months in order to delay VADA testing, after roiding up from December to March, then finally announcing the fight in April. Only 60 days of Vada testing not the 90 days that was required via original contract.
