And while Hunter is good, he’s a former CW who’s only loss was against Usyk. Not really stepping up at HW.
Thanks for letting me know about Ruiz jr. I'm not sure who he will face tbh but if it's a top fighter and his fighting in the States I wonder who Hearn has got lined up we wait and see.

Why not Rivas? Just came off a career win, and he’s only 6’1 so usyk wont be facing a huge height test in his jest match.

I think any good heavyweight is a good debut but the article says his going in with a top heavyweight, it all depends if Ussyk's camp sees Rivas as a top heavyweight. The other likely opponent could be Charles Martin his a name and a common opponent of Joshua.

Rivas is ranked higher than Martin. Martin has no good wins to his name, and only won the IBF title because his opponent tore his ACL and MCL mid fight and couldn’t continue. Rivas is younger, more talented (in my opinion) better shape and just coming off a KO win against Bryant Jennings. Martin is 1-2 in his last 3 fights coming off a loss.

I agree completely but it's how Ussyk's team and Hearn see that, I'm all for Rivas so let's wait and see.

Oh I agree with you, I just don’t think any promoter will be able to sell Charles Martin to the public as Usyk fighting a top guy out of the gate

Set him up with someone like Stiverne as a first fight

It’s not his stamina I would worry about, it’s just fighting 3 decent fighters at his ages would take a long time to recover.

I think Whyte will never want any of Usyk but might pick up the pieces it Ortiz gets windmilled again

With the Hearns at the wheel that would be a huge surprise although I would love it to happen
