I'll go with a bold prediction; I actually think Canelo will KO Jacobs. Maybe early, but most probably late.

Whoa easy buddy, easyyyyy. Baloney? Canelo moved up I'm weight and won a close fight with an Undefeated long reigning champion.

To go so far as to say is fixed leads me to believe you are the type of guy that sits on his lazyboy recliner, chips all over the chest, beer in one hand yelling fix everytime your fighter loses.

Rooting for Jacobs in this fight and hoping he pulls the upset but wouldn't be surprised if Canelo won.

Reading all the comments In wondering why Jacobs had to sign with DAZN in order to fight Canelo. I'm sure he was well compensated but is that legal. Sounds like restriction of trade.

              Las Vegas.....The Fix is In

The 2 GGG/Canelo fights were not the kind of fights that should have made a unified title change hands. I didn't think Canelo won either fight. Sure, he did his best to imitate a flashy fighter. He was showier. But did he win? Either time. In the days, not that long ago, when the great boxers wanted to fight the best, a champion had to be beaten, without question, for a title to change hands. Now, all that tradition has been relegated to the trash heap and all the best fighters are treated as cash cows to enrich their "owners" while taking the least chances for the most monetary gain. This is done at the expense of the paying public, and of boxing. Mayweather should have fought Pac 5 years earlier. They are all trying to follow the Sugar Ray Leonard model. He should have fought Hagler much earlier, like Duran did, and he shouldn't have been able to stipulate ring size OR style/weight of gloves used. Let fighters fight. Let the true greats carve out their proper place in history.

GGG never really jumped on the fight after the first one. GGG never jumped on the Jacobs rematch either. GGG is very similar to Crawford - they both like easy fights.

If you pitch opposite to what Oscars says you'll find yourself nearer the truth .

                    January 23, 2019:

He also touched on the May 4 Canelo Alvarez vs Danny Jacobs pairing; he said all credit goes to the DAZN crew for making it come to fruition. Hearn stated that this fight didn’t come together because Canelo vs GGG 3 didn’t get made. That fight wasn’t going to get made for May, so that made Jacobs the next best option.

Who cares how it happened? We’re getting a unification fight.
Just make sure both are prepared, both make weight, and that all judges get eye exams before the fight.
