So what part is not true? Both of Canelo's last 2 Cinco De Mayo dates were signed mid jan actually earlier then Jacobs fight. There is NOTHING rushed or unusual about him signing his Cinco De Mayo date in mid January. And GGG's own sock puppet Loeffler told media and fans months ago that GGG would decide his next network in Dec. The timeline keeps moving, GGG is the only one dragging his feet while all the Middleweights keep fighting on without him. I get it GGG got his vagina broken back in sept and you are upset. Even his own trainer told GGG during the fight he was losing and then double down telling the media for hours after the fight that GGG didn't win and that the Judges did a good job. By the way what happened to Mexican Style? LMAO

Which is a shame because these are two great fighters who gave us real fun fights.
I get you. And I agree... Human nature is not always a pretty sight.

People need to chill and enjoy these fights for what they are.
Exactly. Well said. This is what boxing is about... Yes it's sometimes a dirty game, with dishonest promoters and immature fans, but it's one of the greatest sports, specially when two talented warriors collide, like in this case.

Yeah sure. He fought Jacobs and then Canelo twice, and I’m sure that the thought of Derev got GGG shook...

          Try harder.

I too was surprised by the fact that Golovkin did not move forward as in the first fight, and I too thought Canelo landed the cleaner punches.... but stop pretending like what Canelo did in the first fight is even comparable to Golovkin in the second, please. In the U.S. judges and fans alike score more for aggression. In the UK judges and fans alike score more for the science and calculation of punches / defense..... and in both areas of the world, a vast majority felt that Golovkin either won both fights or won the first and scored a draw the 2nd time around. This should tell you a great deal about who deserved the victory. I have no problem with the second fight being given to Canelo ( a close decision, anyway). But, to act like is not up for debate is preposterous.
if someone has ever been in the ring or is a REAL fan of boxing, they'd understand the difference between running from corner to corner, rope to rope vs circling while your back never touches the ropes.

              Ggg

You know it alls need to keep one thing in mind: GGG beat Danny Jacobs even though Jacobs ballooned himself up to a full blown light heavyweight for the fight. And any one who watched the two fights GGG had with Canelo knows he beat Canelo both times. The corrupt people in boxing figured there was more money to be made in the future with a Canelo win. Boxing is now and has always been terribly corrupt.

I'm gonna save myself a migraine and not read the comments but this is the fight to be made at 160, GGG is in a tough place having already fought the other two top contenders at 160 and gotten and a close loss to the other. I think if GGG wants to stay at 160 he must fight Andrade then get that rematch in September against Canelo.
