      One detail not mentioned....

      I feel they likely offered Golovkin far less than even his first fight with Canelo. ....I cannot see Golovkin avoiding this fight if it were upward of $10 million.

        They be like Canelo ran but GGG boxed. He landed more punches doe!!

        Show me a link where outlanding a guy determines the winner?? I wont even bring up by an Average of 2.6 punches more per round and 50% was of the total punches landed was jabaroni.

        HARD and CLEAN punches part of the scoring. Canelo face showed me partially blocked and they werent landed flush
        How is taking one step backward to control distance the same as Canelo quite literally moving from one corner to the next before throwing a single punch? Don't act like you watch boxing, regularly and cannot see the difference. I too was surprised by the fact that Golovkin did not move forward as in the first fight, and I too thought Canelo landed the cleaner punches.... but stop pretending like what Canelo did in the first fight is even comparable to Golovkin in the second, please. In the U.S. judges and fans alike score more for aggression. In the UK judges and fans alike score more for the science and calculation of punches / defense..... and in both areas of the world, a vast majority felt that Golovkin either won both fights or won the first and scored a draw the 2nd time around. This should tell you a great deal about who deserved the victory. I have no problem with the second fight being given to Canelo ( a close decision, anyway). But, to act like is not up for debate is preposterous.

          Jacobs biggest achievement was surviving against GGG while skipping the 2nd day weigh in to come into the fight heavier. Jacob’s post GGG performances were very underwhelming.

            At least Jacobs had the balls to fight Derevianchenko unlike GGG.

              GGG don't want that beating again. He's running out of excuses especially after bytching out a Mexican Style fight he begged for and after his own trainer told him and the world he didn't win in sept. lol

              Canelo always signs his fights for Cinco De Mayo in Jan. Last year GGG rematch was signed and announced on Jan 11, the year before that the Chavez fight was signed and announced on Jan 13. You think Canelo and Golden Boy are going to wait around and miss their promotion deadlines while that scared bytch keeps dragging his feet to sign with a network? First Loeffler said GGG would decide his next move in Dec, then after Christmas, then it was after New Years. We are about to enter Feb and this fool still hasn't announced who he is fighting next or what network. And we know Golden Boy made a offer because nobody from GGG camp has denied it. In the past Loeffler would come to to deny or spin anything made public. They quiet as phuk these days. And Golden Boy moved on.

                we don't know the terms but dazn probably tried to low ball ggg with a terrible offer. Of course
                jacobs jumped all over whatever they offered him. ggg is going with whoever offers him the best deal since this deal will be his last. now is the time for arum or pbc to jump in if they want to sign ggg.

                  For the good of the sport;

                  Good job Alvarez & Jacobs , thanks for this fight , way to step up. unification fight's are a must. The Lineal , WBC , WBA & the IBF titles are on the line , the winner of this fight just needs 1 more title to become The Undisputed Middleweight Champion of The World.

                  What's new? The Diva GGG dragging his heels , his high heels👠👠👗💅.

                    what a bunch of drivel! looking at your post history you sure have way of always defending whatever golden girl promotions does are you at least getting paid for having your tongue so far up their asses. coke head de la hoya probably tried to rip ggg off like they tried to do for the rematch it didn't work then and it won't work now. gpb needs to save up their money to pay off the judges for clenelo's next fight against jacobs.

Only 2 of 38 on press row gave the 2nd fight to Canelo, but somehow in Canelo fans minds, that translated to a dominant performance for the ages. I understand being a fan of certain fighters, but to be so much of a fan girl that you're detached from reality is something I can't understand any grown adult doing.
                      Truth, it's idiots on here that spread fake news and instead accepting what the reality was
