P.T. Barnum would smile at these numbers. Plenty of suckers or people with money to burn out there, I guess.

Pacquiao is still one of the few boxers that casuals in America know. That's why the fight did more than Wilder-Fury.

Which is the EXACT same buy rate of Pacquiao vs. Bradley 3

Thus meaning as I've long said. BRONER does NOT drive actual sales as his defenders love to claim he does. GAME OVER!!!

Pretty much what I expected, in my eyes and anyone that really knows boxing Pacquiao was the heavy favorite to win by UD...

Only people fooled were the casuals, it was a little silly imo to think Broner was going to actually let his hands go at age 29 If hes never done it in all the other big fights he's been in up until this point.

Any PPV numbers branded around for Pacquaio-Broner are strictly speculation, or propaganda from Showtime and PBC, as it's too early for a real number. The early tracking numbers on Saturday were "decent" Lets wait a couple days. Remember, the organizers lie about the numbers, to make it sound bigger than it is, so if you didn't buy it, it's like "Look what you missed" so you buy the next PPV. It's salesmanship by the "suits" for the media to eat up, and pass it on to the public. There's a big difference between "uninformed" and "******" I can make you informed, but ****** is something you have to change, I can't do it for you. - Rick Glaser

Dwayne Jones If Showtime lied about numbers they will have issues with there investors.

Rick Glaser Dwayne, if they lie by 20% or more that is considered corporate fraud.

              ...

So if they report $400K buys, the real number can be as low as 324,000?

PBC owns boxing right now, DAZN, ESPN, nobody else can compete, and that's going to be the way of things for awhile, this result puts pressure on DAZN, and ESPN, their stables are not deep enough to compete with Haymon Inc

To say pbc is killing it on PPV must be sarcasm or a joke! A funny one at that! Haha Canelo does more PPV buys than pbc does in two of thier PPV fights and by a long shot!

                  Hahahaha funny!!!

#Glazed!!!!!!!! I will NOT believe any number until Glazer reveals the amount of people from his facebook purchased the fight so he could do his own calculation!!!!!!

And SHO technically didn't reveal the 400k number. In fact, these cable distributors often times don't reveal the numbers. So it is not corporate fraud even if say it did only 275k buys. Obviously not saying it did, but they didn't report any figure so they aren't liable for anything.

Considering standard PPV is dying, 400,000 at $75 a pop, damn plenty of money to share around. This would have been one of the better performing PPV's lately, Canelo is the true PPV star now.
