A decent fight but Kessler too big and Golovkin just a little too slow. Kessler is underrated simply because he fought naively against Ward. Much like Kovalev...Kessler didn't know what to do when things got dirty. Golovkin doesn't fight dirty and in a clean fair fight Kessler outmuscles him.

GGG at present has no SMW experience so its a tough call to pick him. If he moves to SMW we can then make a better appraisal.

yup I only pass judgement when I have judgement tools.

At present we can only assume Kessler would win, by how much anyones guess.

I also think Kessler got caught by surprise by Ward, he wasn't really rated going into that fight. Not saying kessler would have won but he would have done a bit better if he knew what he was up against imo.

Probably Kessler. The size, strength and the fact he had a really good jab to compete with Golovkin's. Kessler had a good uppercut as well which I could see him landing. Golovkin is more savage, if he came out like Hagler vs Hearns he could do some damage to the body and finish things that way. I think Zags hurt him to the body, his chin always seemed very solid though.

Would be a fine match to watch. A pretty even fight of jabs.

Had to give it to Kessler. I'm thinking of him in his prime, he was a terrific fighter and also the bigger man. No shame in losing to him.

But then again, Golovkin was great in his prime as well. Too bad he went through European promoter hell back in the day.
