That's not what happened when he fought a 43 year old 😂

        Calzaghe without question.

though he did beat two champs, this is actually true. He "pulled out of" every big fight that his manager suggested was about to happen over a decade long period prior to Kessler, even trying to pull out of Lacy. He staunchily avoided a return with Reid when he found that guy arguably whupped his az in their bout, going straight back to facing bums immediately after.

He never rematched a fully fit Kessler, the only elite he fought. Joe sure waited a long 11 years for that opportunity to come along, and got out straight away after with a queue of fully fit elite fighters next up if he had stuck around. It makes you wonder why.

Still, a win is a win. That victory finally elevated joe. But we'll never know if it was the injury of kessler that gave him the win or not.

Its a bit wierd how Birts still clamour about him long after even his british rival Froch eclipsed him.

Anyone who picks Canelo needs their head tested.

But joe is too big, too strong, too much of a workhorse to lose

A near prime Roy Jones and Hopkins couldn’t stop him and they were far bigger and stronger than Canelo
Near prime roy jones ,jones was gone after he went heavyweight and came back down to fight tarver by the tjme he fought calzaghe he was lightyears away from his prime
