Joe calzaghe v canelo alvarez who wins at 168

Can't believe people are debating this. Canelo has mediocre stamina and Joe, who was significantly taller and had constant movement, would tire him out fairly quickly. He was a cardio machine. I have a hard time seeing Calzaghe losing to Alvarez.

I don’t think anyone is really debating it because everyone knows Calzaghe wins easily. It’s completely the wrong style for Canelo on top of the size and stamina as you’ve pointed out. The only people that would pick Canelo are because they know the fight will never happen. They are Canelo/Floyd nutthuggers and not real fans of the sport.

He barely squeaks by with highly controversial decisions with Lara and Golovkin who’s ancient and limited yet he’s going to move up and beat a versatile, adaptable, 15 round fighter? LOL. Hopkins in 2008 at 168 vs. Canelo at 168 wouldn’t look too different from Hopkins-Pavlik as well.
