Obviously he'd lose because he's 3-4 divisions lighter.

Not really the same because the actual in ring weight disparity will be no where close to the same and also Marquez has actually competed at 147 and done well.

Unlike Floyd who not only has never competed at 175 has never even weighed in more than 151 lbs.

    So another utterly ******ed comparison.

Floyd fought in the 154 division three times by the Canelo fight. Take that Floyd vs. the Kessler version of Calzaghe which would be a 154 vs. a 168. Floyd moved to 154 first at the age of 29, 30. Calzaghe moved to 175 at, what 37? Marquez hadn't left 126 until he was 33.

Ok but Floyd obviously very small at 154 and the heaviest he's weighed in is 151.

          Calzaghe 174.

So, it's nothing alike to Floyd vs Marquez.

It's not that far off. Marquez, aged 33 was 126. Floyd had been at 154 a few times, let's just say he was fine at 147. Calzaghe was at 168 so it's 21 lbs for each guy but obviously a higher % of the weight for the smaller man.

Neither win would mean much to be honest. I'm just pointing out Calzaghe would beat the crap out of him and the blindest of the blind nutthuggers hate that especially since a lot of them hate Calzaghe and say he's a bum.

              It is far off.

The size disparity between Floyd and Marquez is no where close to that of Floyd and Calzaghe.

              What's Marquez in the ring? 144? Floyd's 150.

              Calzaghe is what? 180?

              Not even close to comparable.

His best win is Kessler probably and that is a better win thn any Floyd win IMO and perhaps so too is his Hopkins win on the account that Hopkins was coming off two big wins and scored a few after.

I've never picked against either in a fight and consider both to have had disappointing level of competition overall. I was a Mayweather fan before probably anyone here and also have seen him live far more than anyone here.
well thats fair enough though thrash is a non valid term with slappy joe. He'd win by split dec fair over 43 year old mayweather, or fake stoppage in cardiff like he did with most of his "tkos" there

yeh u read it rght, 43 year old mayweather, any younger than that and joe wont have yet cured his "fear of flying" (that special condition of his that stops him going to amrrica but mysteriously allows him to go on holiday to the caymans every year)

You think so? I know he had quite a lot of issues going into fights and lets be honest going in with someone like canelo would be overwhelming, but I just feel Calzaghe had a bit more about him.
