jacobs took advantage there and canelos team is making sure it doesnt happen again...
canelo rehydrating at 154 was well within the rules, he is been playing by the rules just like many others , if you have a problem then blame the rules, not the player..
why wasn't it enough for Jacobs in the ggg fight? he wasn't allowed to fight for the belt, which is a penalty. he made the weight, so what's the problem? as far as canelo rehydrating a huge amount at 154...eith you're against it as principal or you're not. that's what these rehydration clauses are for.

Body shots (especially a lot of them) win fights you pea brains.

Use your head. What hurts more, a quick jab to the face or a thumping body shot to your gut? The judges take the shots to the body as a high value offensive weapon.
Canelo was hitting Lara’s elbows all night and that’s why Lara’s bicycle never stopped working.

i mean it wasnt enough for him to follow the rules,
the ibf had a rule and he didnt care for the title, team canelo is making sure he follows the rule, just like he did vs derevyachenko... if jacobs is honest and follows the same rules as canelo then he should not have any fine problems...

          I'm a little confused.....

so, is there a weight/rehydration restriction for this fight ?

or is it the usual 30-day, 7-day, day-before weighin, as usual..... ?

either way, I bet we don't hear the same crying and excuses from the fighters/fans this time around

there is rumors (which i believe are true) that there is a heavy fine if jacobs or canelo fail to make the second day weigh in or any of the weigh ins.. since the wbc will start to enforce that weigh in just like the ibf then gbp is trying to make sure jacobs does it right this time, so i believe is in the contract if either fighter fails to make it there will be a heavy fine.. people also said canelo rehydrates to 180 too, so it should affect him too if thats the case...

so basically, a more rigid enforcing of the usual rules

no additional, or IBF, weight/rehydration restrictions

same standard rules for both, just more heavily penalised

              I'm good with that

basically a heavy fine if any fighter fails to comply with ibf or wbc rehydration rules... in other words jacobs will be fighting under the same circumstances that he fought derevyachenko...

Again say what you say about old Eddie Hearns but you gotta give him some credit

                  Canelo Jacobs Andrade Saunders

And Golovkin HAS to go to DAZN because he's basically forced to at this point so you might as well throw him in the mix too

                  Old Fast Eddie a mufcka!

Yea I get that, but I’m saying the fine shouldn’t exist if the guy makes weight. Let him decide if he wants to fight for the belt or not.

If so why do they do the same day weigh-in? Canelo is scared of size of Jacobs, GGG didn't scared. That is the big difference.
