This cat was the fabrication of what the networks and promoters know attracts Americans. Nasty behavior is glamorized and American people love it. It was sort of like watching reality tv with the person that keeps on getting away with things he was not supposed to. Until that one day happens when all his dirty laundry is finally thrown out and it becomes so satisfying to watch. Americans are sick!!! That's why we have an opioid and drug epidemic!!

I don't know if I agree with this article 100%, because I don't think it's fair to say that he didn't deserve his early success - there was once a time when people believed that yes, he actually was all that and his boasts of him taking over boxing and becoming the new Mayweather had at least a little credibility to them. Of course, things panned out differently but that's not how it looked back then.Comment

Maidana loss was a comeuppance, the others since then less so and especially this one where he was a big underdog and without a win in almost 2 years.
Broner came into the fight as a guy who always loses against top opponents, even if he drains them to a catchweight like Porter or even if they're moving up a division like Mikey was. He couldn't even get by Vargas. He's a guy who the elite know they will beat but still get a good payday against. So he's exactly where he was before the fight. He'll have another fight and just get by another Granados type and then get another opportunity against a belt holder and 7 figures for another half-effort.Comment

Great article. Years ago, when broner was on the come up, I was convinced he would be taking over the sport, before he moved up to WW. Boy was I wrong. Although I still think hes a very talented fighter, he was never able to reach his full Potential due to his life outside the ring. Absolutely no reason why he needs to act the way he does with all this "hood" **** with all the money he makes. There are plenty of rappers who have lived the hood life, and gotten of of it because they realize that it's not a life u want to live. Hopefully, he grows out of that mentality. It's never too late. Hes a ****ty dude, but I still respect what he has accomplished as a fighter. Him losing to champions back to back to back does not make him a bum like most of u say. It just makes him a level of 2 below those guys.Comment

AB is an ahole but so is Jim grey who is the Larry merchant 1.5. AB lost the fight. But to act as if he didn't try to fight is false. He simply wasn't able to connect. He wasn't out of gas or scared. It's about Boxing ppl. The other crap he does is soap opera.Comment

Had he stayed at super feather or maxed out as a lightweight, Broner could have been a genuine legend at those lighter weights. I've never bought into him being a legit welterweight and Broner is a symptom of boxing's alphabet title disease. Any motherfu**er can jump weights now and win belts whilst never having to face and beat the top cat in that weight class. Canelo taking Fielding's 168 lb strap being the most recent example of such bullshtittery.Comment
