  • Comments Thread For: Pacquiao: We Can't Blame Broner For Thinking He Won Fight

LAS VEGAS Virtually everyone inside MGM Grand Garden Arena reacted the same way when Adrien Broner claimed he had beaten Manny Pacquiao. Everyone except Pacquiao, apparently. Pacquiao didn't disrespect Broner during their post-fight press conference when he was asked about Broner's bizarre contention that he won a bout Broner clearly lost.

its not Broners fault, this shet happens because of bs (paid) american judges, too many robberies for the past two years, thats why we have some disturbed fighters like him thinking he's done enough

A fighter has to rely on his corner for perspective on the fight and they were giving him no sense of urgency, no idea that he needed a KO. I think he would have put on that show no matter what happened because he was playing a character for the show. But, even if he wasn't, his corner wasn't being straight with him.

So Pac can't blame Broker for losing 10 out of 12 rounds yet believing he won? Voice of experience?

The scary thing is..Broner probably genuinely believes he won the fight. He isn't working us - he's just legitimately f**king delusional.

I love the absurdity of the 'Broner won' argument.

He clearly did not win, yet all the arguments he is using (and the one or two people who agree with him) are often used to defend the unfair decisions in actual robberies and bad decisions.
