It is an undisputed fact that Floyd was willing to make the fact as long as Pacquiao agreed to the type of blood testing that is considered standard today. Whether he wanted the blood testing out of fear or not really doesn't matter. He was willing to make the fight as long as it happened on a level playing field.

there isn't any way to know if that's true because that scenario never came to fruition. I was commenting on the premise of a fighter asking for extra testing...whether or not it went on to become "standard" is irrelevant. if Floyd wasn't negotiating to fight manny at that particular time, would he have ever even brought the extra testing into play? it didn't seem to be on his radar until that point. him championing drug testing was as a byproduct of trying to get pac to submit to extra testing.
