BoxingScene vets know I am Mayweather Mafia to the core and can't root for Manny by law, but this is as close as I can get to rooting for him.

more than root for him I want a great fight and event, but Manny is now 40, and as a guy now in his 30s, it's become more and more common for me to root for the older fighter. I'm a fighter, and we all want to extend our primes as far as possible. In cases like this, we live vicariously through fighters we watch. I'm not so much rooting for Manny as much as i'm rooting for a 40 year old contender. Prove to me you've still got it, for you, and me. Then there are the ignorant oold school minded morons who swear any fighter over 30 is shot. These are the types I love seeing be wrong, as they usually aren't athletes and have no idea from a personal perspective, they just repeat what they hear. And then he's fighting Broner, who is one of the few fighters I dislike and love to see lose and be humiliated. I even updated my sig gif for this potential "holiday".

That said, if Manny does lose, I will kick Pactuuuuurds when they are down because Mayweather Mafia to the grave.

I always wanted Pac to lose when Marquez was around but Im rooting for him to beat broner. Nothing against broner but I find him somewhat boring with his low workrate. He is no punk though so i see him making it to 12 rounds.
