The best welterweights are named Crawford, Spence, Thurman and Porter, not Pacquiao. Yet many of us continue to root for him. Why? The Filipino icon, who fights Adrien Broner on Saturday night in Las Vegas, worked his way into our hearts beginning with the day he upset Lehlo Ledwaba to win the IBF junior featherweight title in 2001...

It's his fan's who don't accept results and blame everyone else for any reversal Packy gets that turn me off him. And I bet I'm not the only one, it's come to me hoping Packy loses every time just to see how upset and crazy his fans get. It's a circus.

though he has been a fool at times, hes been overwhelmingly most of the time a good example of something great that came from nothing.

This is inspiration on the level of religion and real life heroes like firefighters and nurses.

How do we feel about Pacquiao? This is how I feel: Manny! Manny! Manny! just the one thing I miss about the younger Pacman is his floppy middle parting that used to bounce around when he was in beast mode savaging opponents.
