I thought Broner was going to frustrate Pacquiao with his defense, catch him coming in, Pacquiao was going to get impatient and anxious, which gives Broner a lot of looks.

On top of Pacquiao being 40 years old and Broner being in phenomenal shape in his prime, in the biggest fight of his life, I thought he could pull it off.

That's my assessment of the fight. There's nothing insane or illogical about what I thought.

There's nothing disrespectful about saying a guy is old.

Where else do you see 40 year old guys beating championship level fighters in their prime.

All the conditions were right for a knockout. Broner is a defensive counterpuncher, in his prime, with power. Pacquiao is old, the smaller fighter, gets frustrated and over-aggressive against defensive fighters, has been knocked out before.

Marquez set up the blueprint to beat Pacquiao, Floyd perfected it, and Broner failed at executing, even though he has all the tools and ability to get it done.

Yes, when making predictions it has to assumed that both fighters will want to win and so will fight accordingly. But what obviously happened is Broner lost his courage, to put it mildly. Actually I'll say that Broner is gutless which explains a lot eg his history of failing to let go is because he doesn't want to risk getting counter punched. We may like to think that all boxers have courage, unfortunately Broner is the exception.

Saying there's a blueprint to beat Pacquiao makes me think about Jeff Horn and how people say Horn beat Pacquiao.

More than half of Jeff horn's landed hits were Illegal. Behind the head, hammer fists, clamping and hitting, elbows, punches on the back, headbutts, forearms, headlocks. There is no single foul that Horn didn't commit. The only thing missing was horn biting his ear, and the ref still wouldn't have called it.

Even after the entire fight was rigged, Pacquiao still outlanded horn.

Yeah but you kinda acted like people were dumb for saying Broner had no chance which realistically he didn't.
