  • WHat is Jennings talking about? I’m my own man? It is what it is? Lol dude be gone, Top Rank has alot of losers on their roster. Thankfully we shouldn’t be subjected to any more crappy boring Jennings cards on ESPN or ESPN+

wish i put £100 on him now

nasty and clinical finish after a ridiculously long count for jennings.

i had rivas 2 up going into the last round & that was being VERY generous to jennings, he only had 2 clear rounds when Rivas was too gassed to throw, he literally landed on gloves for probobly over 80% of his punches.Whereas Rivas Jab was very crisp and most of his punches were penetrating Bye bye's guard.
He needs to sort his gasstank out still, cant wait to follow the rest of his career, would LOVE to see him in agaisnt Izu next...and then the likes of Ortiz, Takam & Kownacki

      • In my eyes, Rivas is like Ortiz now. They have the same best win.

Rivas must step ups and fight something that is not a punching bag next.

Real talk.... that count was laughably long. Ref practically told him to take all the time he needed.

          • Oscar Rivas is another wasted talent from Gym ( groupe Yvon Michel )
They’ve had him sitting on the shelf for so long it took Kaboom eleven rounds to remember how to box
The guy is a pretty sound boxer just needs to fight
Not saying he gonna be the goat but he’s a little tank ( a la Tyson ) , with decent power and a not bad defense
            Just needs to fight
Pretty sure he would upset quite a few top guys

            • That is a big win for Rivas. Jennings going into this fight was in a must win as he has shown signs of a decline since the 2 losses to Klitschko & Ortiz. That looked to be his peak fights. He had a few decent wins but getting dropped & having problems with Dimitrenko was alarming to me. I expected him to cruise to an easy KO. He did drop Sasha 3 times but he still struggled some. Calling Jennings a bum like some here is simply ridiculous because he was still the WBO #2, WBA #7, IBF #8 & WBC #14 going into this fight. Rivas was ranked behind him in all bodies but finally got a big fight in the US & he capitalized on it. I own 17 Rivas fights so I am very familiar with him. Up to this point I still didn’t know how he would do against a top 20 HW. He passed the first test & it no part of this fight did he look in trouble. Solid win & now should be in all 4 bodies top 10.

I’m not sure what you are talking about including this fight he had 5 fights the last 13 months. He fought an easy 2 round KO against Ramirez, went 10 with Hubeaux, 10 rounds with Maldonado, 10 rounds in France with tough journeyman Enguema & 12 with Jennings. He had collected the NABF & 2 other regional belts. He has been busy just not at the top level until last night... he also had 2 eye surgeries in recent years so he was brought along carefully...

Your right he has been busy the last year
But before that , even before his eye surgery, they had him doing chit
How long has he been with Gym ?
He hasn’t been on the shelf ?

                  • It was a very close fight going into the 12th. I had Jennings up by a round but many rounds could go either way. Jennings just took himself out of the title picture. He had that WBO #2 putting him in prime position for a title shot or final eliminator as Whyte is #1 & could be next for Joshua.

The eye problems kept him inactive & he could’t get fights sanctioned in the US until the retina issues were solved. He had that fight in Vegas cancelled against Washington because the NSAC wouldn’t give him a licence.
