Comments Thread For: Andrade: Saunders Unprofessional, But If It Happens, It Happens

Demetrius Andrade would welcome having his fight against Billy Joe Saunders rescheduled. The WBO middleweight champion still isn't convinced that Saunders would make it to the ring even if Andrade again agreed to fight him. Andrade was the mandatory challenger for Saunders' title, but Saunders gave up the WBO's 160-pound championship after failing a performance-enhancing drug test.

If only Andrade hadn’t passed on Charlo and Derevychenko fights. Then he would be relevant. Instead he’s doing Friday night fights

To many "if's" here. Andrade needs to handle his business first. Saunders has not been given anything yet, and he needs to show he is clean and back to top level 160 shape.

I am not holding my breathe.

Andrade is telling the truth, Saunders really isn't in any hurry to fight him. Andade is better than people think, much better, and a case can be made that he's the best of the division.

He's not invincible but nobody is in a hurry to fight him either. He does a lot of subtle things that separate him from the pack. I would like to see him in with Lemieux, Fielding, Charlo, Sulecki or Derevyanchenko.

I still don't know why Andrade was wearing that custom made button up tank top outfit with paper towels wrapped around his elbows. Like wtf you got dressed in the dark or something, seriously lol

Al Haymon and Frank Warren have spent a lot of time together recently. I can't imagine that Charlo vs. Saunders hasn't come up yet! I can't imagine that Warren wouldn't have noticed the troubles Charlo has had with Trout and Korobov! In a perfect world, we get Charlo vs. Saunders along with Warrington vs. GRJ or LSC, but at this point Charlo vs. Saunders in a WBC final eliminator, just makes perfect sense! MAN UP!
