It sounds fishy. As hard as he punches if he hit a normal sized woman in the face full force with a bare fist she should be in the hospital or dead.

I'm not saying this is true, but if it is, he may have punched her but not full force. The article never mentions ho much force he put into the punch.

Not the slightest bit surprising. This guy is a true Cold War-era menace, the type of cat who already would have been in jail if not for boxing.

If he was black or latin this news would have came up a long time ago. Crazy how they are quick to write about a fighter getting into some legal stuff when they aren't white. You got people defending the guy already but if it was someone of colored people would be crucifying him like crazy. Being arrested does not mean its true or that someone is guilty. Both sides of the story must be heard to determine what really happened and the actual circumstances.

The most logical scenario on what happened I think is the woman tried to hit on kovalev and he denied her being married. She got drunk and jealous like all women get and made the whole story up to get back at him.
