Bertebiev's problem is activity. Everyone loves the KO, and he has done it every fight so far. I guess we will never know who is the better fighter since all the top guys are on ESPN now. The winner of Jack vs Browne will show a lot if he can get past them.

I know, they scrapped that (ironically) after the GGG/Jacobs fight.

Agree maybe a better split but would likely be less money. Whyte Joshua could make 1.5 mil Ppv? Whyte usually makes 400k

If Whyte is claiming that his offer to fight AJ is less than he made fighting Chisora; does that not imply Hearn offered him a flat fee?

He said the guarantee from initial offer was less. But then if that was a guarantee it is probably more? Eddie has confirmed his last offer guaranteed at least double his best ever purse (which i assume was against Parker)

I have no idea, I haven't followed the negotiation. I was just wondering how it was possible unless it was a flat fee, since even if it was a lower percentage the revenue for AJ/Whyte 2 at Wembly would clearly eclipse what Whyte/Chisora 2 did at the O2

I clearly said Jacob is losing to canelo that's not a ? Canelo is a better boxer than GGG and GGG barely though still did beat Jacob. I were saying Jacobs loses to canelo fights a no name then beats Andrade in 3 fight deals once beats Andrade Jacobs would have a belt so leverage power during next contact negotiation

Not necessarily. He could actually make more cause they could put on a PPV in both the US and UK. If he faces Joshua it would be just the UK or on DAZN (not sure how that would work).

250K buys in the US would get $20 Million
250K buys in the UK would get $5 Million
Plus there us the Gate (Wilder vs Fury made $3.5 Million, Vegas could make more)
So that is like $30 Million if it only does 250K (Probably does better than that though)

1.5 Buys in the UK would be $30 Million

Realistically that could only happen on ppv in USA against wilder at the moment. You ain’t gonna sell big against a Brezeale, etc?

Wilder has already openly said he is avoiding him and would make him wait two years even if he was mandatory - so that ain’t likely to happen soon?

Even so I think Joshua Whyte would make more. 1.5 mil isn’t guaranteed but you can see it getting close in the uk where as even against wilder ppv numbers in America would be much more of a gamble.

Unless fury throws a curveball and says he will fight AJ I fully expect Whyte to accept a deal to fight on April 13th. I watched his first fight with AJ today, it was an absolute cracking fight but both fighters have improved dramatically so it won’t be the same fight. Interestingly Joshua actually entered the ring first that night, I assume Whyte already held the British belt at the time.

Good for him, but who watches DAZN?
