It’s not really a desperation move. It’s literally the most logical fight to make. A third ggg fight is what I would call a desperation move.

Both would have been desperation moves, but considering who they had lined up for Canelo a couple weeks ago, then last week Oscar is saying they’re trying for GGG3 (out of the blue) because it’s what fans want, or Jacobs because it’s what fans want...promoters don’t care what fans want.

They were planning for months to have Canelo/Lemieux at 160. And when Lemieux got hospitalized they were taking about doing it at 168 as a Canelo title defense. But people know Lemieux isn’t what anyone wants
