I'll entertain the thought that Aj is in fact the #1 n hes only secured that spot by avoiding the #2. N he'll continue to be if doesn't abandon that model. Or we can say Aj has yet to face an opponent rated as high as Wilder..n fury did n won.
Unless you are moving to a brand new universally accepted
system for rating boxers that no one else knows about, AJ is the number ranked boxer with more belts than anyone else. It’s as simple as that. Is he the best boxer, who knows, it’s one of the most hotly debated subjects on these forums for that reason.

I will break it down for you Wilder and Fury fanboy idiots. If Hearn wins the purse bid he wins on all fronts. If Fury and Wilder refuse to fight under a Hearn promotion, then the fight doesn't happen and they lose their biggest paydays too. If he wins the purse bid and they fight, then it makes DAZN even bigger, pisses off both Wilder and Fury's teams and he makes a lot of money for DAZN. He wins no matter what.

The big problem here is that Matchroom has a God-awful recent track record on purse bids.

          Pulev-Whyte, Pulev-Miller, Hooker-Saucedo in 2018 alone.

No reason to believe Matchroom will even be competitive for an even bigger fight like Wilder vs Fury...

You would think that huh, but on 15K saw Joshua on dazn 325K saw Wilders ppv. No one has the app and probably won't get it because they don't have the platform to promote themselves. No one here knows what the app is and boxing isn't gonna pay for it alone.

That would be the dream. Between this, Shawn Porter/Spence debacle and the situation with Charlo and Canelo, the WBC is not worth it. PBC needs their own belts, as does ESPN then they should just do joint PPV with unifications yearly

If the fight ended up on DAZN then that would be made known to everybody who was interested in it during the build up. They would all know about DAZN and how to get it by the time the fight happened.

The other belts would be irrelevant so it's actually less. Hopefully the ABCs would go belly up
