He’s right. No one expects him to beat a top P4P guy like Crawford so losing doesn’t hurt him much. The Brook fight can still happen as it’s a fight a lot of UK fans want to see.
He loses to Brook though and the Crawford fight doesn’t happen as he’s not as marketable. It’s been almost 3 years since Canelo decapitated him so it’s old news now. Perfect timing to be another stepping stone for an elite guy again.

Khan been saying this for like the last 3-4 years. Does he ever truly mean it? It sounds like he's saving this for his retirement, one last cash out fight.

Khan's waiting until Brook takes another lose and then 'claim' the upper hand in negotiations and try and push more disadvantages onto Brook.

Kell Brock will be busy rematching Jo Jo Dan, while Khan fights legends.

Legends ....who .....I wait , legends.I's mugs like you that help to put me off supporting this idiot.

The nearest you'll get to that one is STALKING legends for undeserved paydays . And Brook is done but I guarantee he will still knock **** out of this chinny ****er!

Khan-Brook will sell well no matter what, even if both Khan and Brook lose their next fights. The main draw of Khan-Brook is the domestic grudge match, like Froch-Groves.

the closest khan has come to fighting a legend was when he had an argument with Floyd at the garcia vs guerrero match as they were seated a row apart from each other. Otherwise, he's had no legend interaction.

Among Khan's previous opponents, Barrera is already HOF, while the likes of Maidana, Judah and Canelo are strong candidates for future HOF.

That's what its all about. Khan knows he can get both a Crawford payday and then back into a Brook payday even if he gets blown out - he's just doing the numbers.

It wouldn't work the other way around. If ho faught Brook first and Brook beat him, then no Crawford payday after.

At the end of the day, can't fault his logic.
