Another fighter who claims to want a title, but does everything BUT working towards that goal.
A fight with AJ in Aril would have been one of the best match-ups available - yet he continues to tread water.
He must know Wilder is going to be busy for a while and not that keen to fight him again.

Having read that I wouldn’t have responded either. How the hell does he call him out then hears he accepts the challenge then he goes awol? UnbelievableYou're lagging, bro. Ortiz responded weeks ago. The ball has since been on the Juggernaut's court. I guess the cat took Joyce's tongue.
EDIT: it was in fact, over a month ago.

Can't be mad at his activity level like others have said, but I really would like to see Ortiz in with top ten guys & I feel like he deserves those fights & those better paydays.
We've seen Ortiz isn't at the tip top of the division with the Wilder fight, although he was a ball hair off of showing he was, but let's see if he's #4 or #10 before this mfer gets a social security check each month.Comment

Why not make a $5m offer to whyte and see if whyte will not be in the ring 2 days before fight night.
Ortiz fvvking management should send contracts across to other top 10 fighters, they are not handicapped.
Enough of all these wilder boys crying here like little girls.Comment

I still don't understand. Someone with close to 30 pro fights, still struggling for a decent fight and is always on Undercards. That's what i don't get with this "Boogey man" stuff. You expect to sit there and contracts would fall on your lap? Nah, Whyte was a freaking kickboxer but he already has two PPV fights on his own name (Not mentioning the Joshua fight).
Team Ortiz held him back, just like Wilder was held back until last year. No way should someone that has been in the sport that long struggling to get high profile fights.
AJ got his first title shot by fight #17/18 or so. That's what it means by taking risks.
The excuse of others are avoiding him is getting boring and outdated.Comment

The master of pointless, reactionary, xenophobic comments strikes again. From which subhuman, alternative reality did you originate from? Consider taking a look at the boxrec heavyweight rankings before tapping away at your semen soaked keyboard.Ortiz would bring far more $$$ than ***** Whyte or Jelly Baby Miller.
Almost no one knows ***** whyte outside of UK, and the people that do know him, know hes an awful B grade domestic level fighter who already been KO'd by AJ.
NO real boxing fan would ever pay money to see AJ vs Whyte II. The only people watching that are drunk UK fanboys with hardons for AJ's biceps.Comment
