I agree that Ortiz doesn't have alot of big names on his resume and I would also add that he doesn't have a huge following to add financial incentive to face him. He did beat up on Bryant Jennings and he did fight a life and death bout with Wilder. Jennings was competitive with Klitschko and Wilder was good enough to fight to a draw (according to judges) against the guy who dethroned Klitschko. If you fight Ortiz and you want to increase your standing you want to do it at least as impressive as Wilder

So, with all that being said, I imagine not many people are trying to face him. They would rather face a Hughie Fury, Lucas Browne or a Carlos Negron and wait their chance. I don't necessarily blame them for it either; Ortiz brings risk without a great amount of reward.
You are right. Boxing is not a charity sport. You must take risk to put yourself in a demanding position just like whyte did and made him self a ppv fighter.
Ortiz and his management has to take risk.
Cough out $1/2/3mil, it's enough to attract most of the top 10/15 fighters.
You can't sit at your backyard expecting a contract all the time and claiming no one wants to fight you.

    No body owe you anything.

Lolx..... Let him take the ducks to the bank.
Hahahahaha..... This excuse is getting outdated. Look for something new.

Yeah just like he put away Malik Scott...maybe he should forget about Joshua and actually try earning a shot by fighting a decent contender like Pulev, Parker, Povetkin, Chisora...someone of that ilk?

Whyte is a ppv fighter, Ortiz can't put 5k fans on seat to watch him. When will you learn to use that fvvking brain of yours?

Even if you hire 10,000 media persons, it's not enough to give Ortiz another title shot. He has to earn it.
          Am done with you man.
Eric molina fought AJ on PPV. Is he ppv fighter too?

He still rate higher than your darling Ortiz in every org and independent rating org.
So what's your argument? Ortiz should be giving another title shot based on your request?
            Who the fvvk are you?
Ortiz should be given a title shot at AJ because it will be an interesting entertaining fight. And a proper test for AJ.

***** whyte will get destroyed just like last time. No one wants to see that uncoordinated awful bum staggering around like a drunk again.

I actually agree. I’m not saying Ortiz is a bad fighter he is exceptionally skilled but all this propaganda that he is most avoided is nonsense. Joe Joyce is calling him out a relative novice. He has not responded to that challenge. As for his power he hit Kauffman repeatedly for 12 rounds. There is nothing devastating about his power. He hit the journeyman Dave Allen for 7 rounds straight. I watched that fight live. He is faster on Tv. He is slow and ponderous as F#uck. Very good counter skills for his age though

You're lagging, bro. Ortiz responded weeks ago. The ball has since been on the Juggernaut's court. I guess the cat took Joyce's tongue.

EDIT: it was in fact, over a month ago.
On Saturday night 2016 Olympic Silver medalist Joe Joyce improved to 7-0 in the pro ranks with a first round knockout of Joe Hanks (23-3). The fight opened up the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury Showtime pay-per-view broadcast. Also on the pay-per-view was Luis Ortiz's 10th round knockout of Travis Kauffman (32-3). Ortiz took control of the fight early and dropped Kauffman three times in a dominant victory.

That's what i don't get with this "Boogey man" stuff. You expect to sit there and contracts would fall on your lap? Nah, Whyte was a freaking kickboxer but he already has two PPV fights on his own name (Not mentioning the Joshua fight).

Team Ortiz held him back, just like Wilder was held back until last year. No way should someone that has been in the sport that long struggling to get high profile fights.

What are you on about you utter nonce? You do know Whyte has had his own two PPV headline events?

You cringey mf posting crap on here.

"Ortiz is highly rated by orgs therefore he's the best"

Whytes rated higher by the same orgs...
