Had they been the same size, it would have been an easy win for Gamboa. I don't understand why some fighters accept fights where they are gonna lose for sure just because of size, to an A-class opponent who may lose to them for sure if they were the same weight on fight night. Same thing that happened in Mayweather Jr.-JMM, Canelo-Cotto, GGG-Brook. The HUGE size difference overcame the boxing skills in all cases.

But it's always about money, ALWAYS.

The toughest challenge of Khan has been Canelo, period, since the size difference was huge vs. an A-class fighter. Khan was committing suicide, everybody knew it, whereas vs. Crawford almost everybody is sure Khan will lose, but nobody thinks he's on a suicide mission like they did vs. Canelo. BIG difference.

Let's see Crawford almost kill him with a single punch in the early rounds, and then many of us will stand corrected, but that's highly unlikely to happen.
Mikey Garcia is about to be a victim of the same thing when he face Spence.

I don't think Crawford is better than Canelo. And the Maidana that gave Floyd all kinds of problems would be a 50/50 fight with Crawford. His style matches up GREAT against Crawfords.

Especially, if he faced Canelo at 147. I think Canelo's talent is overrated on this site. He's faced a lot of good competition, however, he has at least 3 controversial decisions in his career. AND he got schooled by an older, smaller Mayweather. I haven't seen Canelo fight any better than I've seen Crawford fight. Golovkin is the best win on his resume by far but both wins were close and one (I thought) was the wrong decision. I believe Crawford could beat a talent "like" Golovkin in the WW division. I'm not saying Crawford could go up MW and beat Canelo but it's not impossible to imagine. Especially, since we've seen what Mayweather did even though it was a CW.
Yeah like fighters Can't get better. Smh.. This idiot compared a 22 year old to a now SEASONED much ,much better in his prime fighter

Hey ****** why not bring up how he looked against Cotto's brother. I bet when you watch that fight and GGG's your dumb ass doesn't even see a difference???

Fkn RTARD's like ypu probably think trainers are over rated as well? The Maidana that fought Khan then signed trained with Garcia was the same as the guy who fought floyd right??

Casual fans like your comments are OVERRATED! Don't know SHT about boxing.

Crawford is a better all around fighter than anyone khan has faced. For everyone crying that Canelo is better, Crawford is ranked above Canelo on pretty much every credible p4p list. Canelo is bigger than Crawford so he was more of a threat to hurt khan badly in their mismatch than what Crawford is, but that's where his advantages end.

I don't even like Khan and we all know his chin is weak but if Crawford don't knock him out or at least drop Khan he is going to lose..

I agree there's a few people on amir's record that could beat or could have beat Crawford in their prime.

This new generation of fighters like to talk but they don't do much walking..

Who is they? You’re literally the only person I’ve ever seen use that moniker, probably because it’s pretty lame to be honest.

The headline actually says Crawford thinks he is better than anyone khan has ever faced. Not that he could beat everyone khan has ever faced, there’s a subtle difference. You can consider yourself to be better pound for pound than someone without thinking you could take them out.
I’m sure rigondeaux considers himself to be a better fighter than say for example Dillian Whyte but he’s not gonna get in the ring with him.
Can bud beat Canelo, no chance.
Is he a better boxer pound for pound? Still Canelo in my opinion (Crawford exceptional talent but currently let down by resume) but there’s more room for debate when looking at it that way.

I loved to watch Chino fight, but Chino on his best night gets schooled by Bud. Crawford has to be one of the most underrated guys in the sport. Only the absolute top shelf guys are go to threaten him. He handles everybody else with ease.
