With Bivol signing to DAZN...

Probably more so the eye test of him looking like the best to some. But that's about it. Not all that far from Spence getting the top spot at WW according to most, but he also dethroned Brook to get his spot. Bivol has a really solid win over Barrera, but that's about it at this point. Don't doubt he can compete with the top dogs, but Alvarez/Gvozdyk are coming off better wins.Comment

No I disagree strongly. There have been some impressive performances at 175 especially. Gvozdyk win over Stevenson and Alvarez win over kovalev make them the top dogs for me at the moment. They’ve definitely done enough to be rated over Bivol. At 154 Hurd beating Lara makes him the clear number one guy for me too. Beating Liam smith doesn’t quite cut it for me.Comment

I don't agree with canelo being unquestionably the best at mw. he's had only 2 fights there and he arguably lost both of them. all things considered, he probably is the best, but there's definitely questions.I usually refer to TBRB rankings to see who is the top in each division. Then I compare that against my perception.
AJ, Usyk, Canelo are unquestionably the best at their weights IMO. TBRB supports this.
There are a number of guys ahead of Bivol and Munguia at LHW and JMW in the TBRB rankings. I feel same way about Bivol but I only really have Hurd and Charlo ahead Munguia at 154.
TBRB has Smith ahead of Zurdo but IMO they are equals at 168.Comment

Any fight above 154 is MW. So the 155 lb bouts are MW fights. Yes he arguably lost to GGG but I was going off the official decision.Comment

yea, that's true...but which one of those fighters he faced at 155 are better than the top rated mws? if he decisively beat ggg, then fine, but him being the best at mw is still questionable imo.Comment
