Mosley: "Mayweather Should Go Fight Margarito"

Floyd stands in an almost impossible situation in terms of fans' reactions to his plans. He can take the fight with Margartio and either 1)take the fight and win... and have haters claim that Margarito wasn't really worthy or 2)wait... and have haters claim that he is dodging Margarito. I really have no issue with Floyd waiting to decide his plans as long as he fights a potentially dangerous fight. I would prefer to see the match up with Hatton, but that won't happen this year. Also, claiming that Zab Judah is a junior welter is foolish considering he was the undisputed welterweight champion (albeit for a very short time).

Also, why claim Floyd is a "wimp?" He continued his fight with Jesus Chavez even though he had a broken hand and he has only been down once in his career and that was from pain in his hand. A "wimp" doesn't challenge the best that the 130 and 135 lb. divisions have to offer as a young fighter (Corrales, Castillo, Chavez, Hernandez). If you want to say that he collects his checks by fighting inferior opposition at this point... then yes I agree with you. On the other hand, he can easily reverse this perception by simply fighting a tough opponent in his next fight then fighting DLH.

mayweather said he's been trying to fight mosley for the past 5 years..he said a couple of times he went up to mosley at other boxing matches and mosley act like he didnt hear him

That's just common sense, Mosley has just started to rebuild his career and he wouldn't want to put and abrupt end to his comeback effort.

You hear what the guy said, his fight with PBF can happen next year, 2007.

The problem with the margarito fight

You have to understand this, and I think the haters understand this as well.

1. PBF is with HBO not Bob Arum. Arum made an offer of 8million for oct7th. HBOoffered a nov4th ppv date. HBO the network has more money than bob, therefore the promoter is supposed to set the fight with the network not the other way around. Bob is looking to discard margarito and he needs pbf to do it.

To say mosley is running from floyd is just ******.Mosley hasnt run from any fighter and it has cost him but he did what a real champ does and fight the best thats there.Mosley said go fight margarito and he will take the winner.People make a big thing out of him saying he will fight him after a few more fights but he has to be strong at 154 then drop down to 147 and every good fighter going up or down in weight always takes a tune up after changing divisions.After floyd said that he was offered more for another fight i figured it was shane cause thats the only guy left really.If its not shane that really shows floyd is full of ****.Heres a list he could fight on ppv for the kind of cash he was offered for tony --cotto - hatton - mosley - dlh - winky -- and we all know those are a no go for his next fight.I thought floyd was just trying to find a bigger pay day but now im thinking he might really be afraid of tony.

Should i post the video of williams fight again, maybe you didn't see it. Margarito fights Williams he destroys the kid. But i wouldn't mind seeing Margarito shatter this kid.

Bull****, when Bob Arum wants to dump a fighter, he dumps him that very second. Don't try and make up some bull****. You just can't belive that Arum belive in Margarito.

Actually Mosley refused a fight with Margarito and even said it on tv on espn awhile back.
