Originally posted by adrsan84Mosley turned down the fight but that has nothing to do with mayweather's situation, basically mosley's saying if floyd is waiting on him then move on. only Baldo and Margarito are left from the opponents he said were options. hopefully he doesnt wait to beat up on Baldomir bc i would lose respect for him, baldy is a second rate fighter who doesn't EVER belong in the ring w/ mayweather and doesn't even have a punchers chance.
If not a mosley fight who the hell else would offer floyd more money in 2006? i have no clue who that would be.
Hopefully this means Mayweather vs. Margarito coming right up!
There not happening so he will move on. Shane didnt have to say anything about who Floyd should fight. He shouldve just said that he's not figthing Floyd now and he's not fighting again this year. How many times have you ever heard a fighter tell another fighter to go fight someone else? Thats a ***** move.
This is going to end so sad because when this fight between Floyd & Margarito is over then people will see that it was a joke to compare them. Margarito is a good fighter but Floyd is all wrong for him. It cracks me up when people say that Margarito is a bad matchup for Floyd. Floyd is the bad matchup for Margarito. Margarito has the style that will beat anyone else at 147 but yet he calls out Floyd who has the only style that can pick him apart and thats what will happened and then Margarito will be the laughing stock of boxing because he has no legit wins.
If he wouldve fought guys like Callazo and others then it wouldnt look bad if he lost to Floyd but if he loses to Floyd without having any good wins on his resume then he looks like a straight chump and he will never ever get a big fight or be heard from againComment

Yeah, Mosley is ducking Mayweather obviously...hell he moved up in weight to fight a HUGE welterweight in Vernon Forrest who had beat him in the ams pretty bad and he took on a guy like Winky Wright at 154 (who people had ducked and dodged for years). Mosley does not know the definiton of 'duck' so get that out of your vocabulary when discussing Mosley. The only reason he told Mayweather to fight Marg is b/c he knows Floyd is a ***** and he wants him to fight someone that isn't A)scared ****less B)**** or C)lost their last fight.
Put it this way, the reason Winky & Forrest gave him rematches is because Mosley gave THEM the shot. If Mosley was Floyd and took on mediocre fighters in 140-147 we would be looking at a potential first-ballot HOFer. Since he decided it pays to take risks as a fighter, we are looking at someone who has to do a little more to become a HOFer.Comment

Should i post the video of williams fight again, maybe you didn't see it. Margarito fights Williams he destroys the kid. But i wouldn't mind seeing Margarito shatter this kid.Comment

Originally posted by DoubleWhen will this Margarito v. Mayweather talk stop, the welterweight division is loaded. Margarito can fight Quintano, Williams, Collazo all of whom just had big fights on major networks and are named fighters.
Mayweather turned him down, Collazo thinks he can get Mayweather and Winky type of money, Quintano people said they will wait their options out and see who wins after Hatton fight Urkal, Williams just got a fight lined up with Mitchell.

Win, lose or draw, Mosely said that he does not plan on fighting again until 2007, which makes him unavailable to stage a November pay-per-view clash with Mayweather. [details]Comment
