sure...like I said, there's nothing wrong with making that assessment, but too often around here, that seems good enough for people. like they're satisfied enough with holding a belief, that the fight doesn't even need to happen. there's no such thing as forgone conclusions in boxing.

I never understood why people rationalize Ward's thought of supposedly wanting GGG when the Lemeiux bout was a go, for the same to say that Ward went up to 175. The way GGG fought Lemieux would, if anything, persuade Ward not to go up at all and fight GGG. Lemeiux is smaller and nowhere in level compared to Ward, let alone power. GGG's team wanted 164. We need to be honest, Ward vs GGG would never have happened. Ward too big to GGG at 168 as well. If anything GGG would need a rehydration clause with Ward the same way Rigo requested for Loma even when moving UP in weight.
