A lot of Golovkin's jabs snapped Canelo head back and made him back off. Those are effective punches. If you look at the number of punches that landed to the head Golovkin landed many more shots since he threw very few body shots. If you count one power shot equal to two jabs, which is being extremely generous to Canelo Golovkin outscored Canelo in that second fight. Then factor in that Golovkin landed more punches to Canelo's head, Golovkin won that fight. The pity pat jab BS fable by his detractors is plain bias. A power punch is any punch that isn't a jab whether it has zero force behind it. A LOT of Canelo's power punches had no effect in Golovkin just as some of Golovkin s jabs didn't hurt Canelo. If you look at the rematch objectively Golovkin was the rightful winner.
GTFOH Canelo out landed GGGin both fights with power punches, the pity pats GGG landed did not have any effect on Canelo first because most of those “jabs” were not connecting, and the face of Canelo is proof of that, second ask any knowledgeable couches what counts more a pity pat jab, or a power punch? so again GTFOH with that bias assessment of the fight.

I saw a good fight, i doubt anyone who boxes would use the word timid. But back to your obssesion. Canelos not a puncher. Hes fought alot of smaller men, and been unable to stop them. The only men hes stopped or KOd recently have been fragile. Hes not a puncher. Hes stopped no one of note anywhere near middle. So its a myth hes a big puncher. Prove me wrong.

Canelo got decisions that many on press row and all around boxing didn't think he won. That's not an opinion, that's reality. Now in my opinion, Canelo deserved the L vs lara, and 2 Ls vs ggg. Also, you're celebrating a win over trout!?? who has basically made a career off of losing to anyone who matters other than cotto. Speaking of cotto, yet another canelo win that was underwhelming vs a little guy who was 36 yrs old. Meanwhile, Mexican press row from TV Azteca had Canelo losing that fight. As for Trinidad, he won his fights impressively and other than 1 fight , he won without controversy. Trinidad went weight class to weight class and sought out the best champions. He didn't pull this beefy Smith, and rocky fielding nonsense. And you can downplay 2 positive ped tests all you want but everyone with sense knows he's been a ped cheat for a while now, and despite testing clean now, he's still benefitting from the effects of his ped use. But you're probably not intelligent enough to understand why or how. Canelos legacy will eventually be that if a ped cheat, who received favorable scoring and was very selective in his opponent selection. But hey, if in your heart, he's the greatest thing since sugar ray Robinson, that's all that should matter to you.

Fucking murderer's row right there huh. Now I remember why I called you dumbasses Trinidiots back in the day.

Trinidad got his first loss, and went into hiding for a year, came back beat two bums (Cherifi and Mayorga) then got embarrassed by Wright and destroyed by old Jones.

Did I mention he ducked PRIME Whitaker, Ike Quartey and Shane Mosley? Oh yeah, I did, nice that you didn't mention it because it's true.

His legacy ended in a thud.

Let me further prove your idiocy. Trinidad went to 154 and 2 of his first 3 fights were vs undefeated world champions in the weight class. Nobody better was available in that weight class. He then went to 160 and his first two fights were against the 2 world champions in that division. Joppy had 1 loss (which he avanged) when he fought tito and I don't even have to defend him facing Hopkins. As for Whitaker, yeah, he was 35 yrs old when tito fought him. That's still 1 yr younger than what cotto or ggg were when canelo got wins over them. And to that point, nobody had beaten Whitaker convincingly. As far as ducking quartey or mosley, he fought the guys who beat quartey in both Oscar and vargas and he was scheduled to fight mosley but mosley lost to Wright. So he then fought Wright. Not to mention that had Trinidad been able to beat Hopkins, there was already an agreement to face Roy Jones when roy was without a doubt the best fighter on the planet. If Canelo fought the guys that Trinidad fought on the come up, he'd likely be an after thought or have multiple losses in his record by this time. Trinidad never strategically waited out fights like Canelo did, he doesn't have multiple fights with horrific scoring in his favor, nobody with any sense ever questions his desire to face the best, and most importantly, never tested positive for taking peds.

Yeah but that doesn't mean Canelo can stop him. He's failed to stop quite a few aging guys.Hes not a puncher. Other than Khan, Kirkland and Fielding, whos hes stopped? All guys who had been knocked out in one round previously.

                  1) I couldn't care less about this pointless conversation

in boxing, there is nothing more over-rated than power

we saw that last night with Plant, we saw it with Golovkin, we saw it with Kovalev, we saw it with Mayweather..... that lesson has been learned plenty of times

the fat red kid can fight his ass off

                  2) he had enough power to make Chavez keep them hands at home..... and he had enough power to make Golovkin keep them hands at home, when he turned that supposed killer into a track star

where was Golovkin's supposed power ?

Canelo ate that shlt up, Golovkin never bothered him at all

Dude you are such a biased homer. GGG was never wobbled or stunned in either fight. Canelo was both wobbled and stunnned twice in the seconds fight he said it himself.

No please let’s move on. It will be the same thing or maybe golden boy is hoping that canelo can finally knock ggg down after 3 fights. No need for this as ggg can figh the perfect fight and will still only get a draw. I want to see these two beat up on the rest of the MW division
