Guys Canelo, like him or not is looking so strong right now. Looks like his speed is there and just incredibly strong. His fight against the last bum was an execution. He’s has zero conscience right now and is looking to hurt people. If that Canelo shows up, he was huge. No way GGG makes it out alive. I hope I’m wrong as I would love to get another 12 out of them. A confident lion in his prime vs a finishing power puncher that is slower and got IMHO dominated in thier last outing. Maybe not for a pure boxing perspective but mentally dominated and out gamed. Kind of like when Tyson was no longer feared the aura of invincibility was not only taken by Canelo but absorbed by the guy coming up in weight.Comment

I'm surprised by everyone thinking G has no chance in a trilogy. Most people thought he won the first fight. The second could have gone either way (although I actually remember Canelo taking a bit more damage than G). Yes G is aging but it's still a very close fight that could belong to either man.Comment

Then the two who are the best should fight each other don't you think? If you don't think either of them are the best at 160 then that should be great news for you.Comment

I like Canelo and have a lot of respect for him...thought he really improved in the 2nd fight and was making GGG box on the back foot which we have never really seen. But I thought GGG won fight 1 clearly and fight 2 I still had it pretty clear for GGG. 8-3-1 for GGG in fight 2 in rd by rd punch stats (although that isn't everything and I sometimes disagree with the punch stats personally).Well yeah of course. In the financial sense it is in Gs best interests. I have no argument against that. It was moreso directed at detractors who will not give Canelo credit for a great win and another fight gives Canelo another opportunity to do it in better fashion. Honestly I like the matchup n GGG gets another chance to change the outcome.. I'm interested in Canelos gameplan though and what modifications he'll implement
I think it's hard to win rounds against GGG because he is always scoring with the jab and his workrate and stamina are so good. He just outworks his opponent in almost every round imo. But I look forward to a 3rd fight, and if Canelo improved in fight 2, why not improve more in fight 3? If I feel he truly beats GGG I will be first to give him his creditComment
