You can argue which is greater. You can argue which is more accomplished. You can certainly argue which is more skilled, and that would be a fun 50/50 argument between 2 different styles. Mayweather will always have the clear cut win. But who will be more loved and respected? It will be hard to argue that.
If you argue that Manny is a more skilled or better boxer than Floyd, then you don’t know the sport. Mayweather is head and shoulders above him

In regards to character Boo Boo Andrade falls in line with the guy who ACTS like they want a big fight but signs with a promoter that doesn’t have the talent in his division. Sure he was going to fight Saunders. But who is he going to fight now? He purposely wants that UK domestic level diet that’s why he signed to Hearn!!

And if you don't at least entertain that he isn't, I do not think you LOVE the sport.

Manny was blessed with such quick hands and stellar reflexes that he could have gotten by easily on those alone. But he developed himself, working into a credible defensive boxer with a ton of different offensive skills. He worked hard on using his speed to force boxers to open up, and then took advantage of whatever opening was there. He was never an exemplary defensive boxer, but at his best he had good head movement and forced bad angles on opponents so at least he got the better of the exchanges.

Floyd was blessed with some amazing skills. He had a tremendous warrior fire in him early on, and he was always gifted with a defensive prowess that goes beyond just work ethic. His head movement and ring awareness even as he was young was like a third eye. I think people forget how exciting of a fighter he was at the lighter divisions. He worked skills into forcing fighters to come to him and try to force the issue. As he learned he could simply outpoint anyone, he did. He simply turned into the definition of a ring master.

Manny is naturally a much better offensive fighter with better speed and suspect defense, which he worked on. Mayweather is naturally the better defensive fighter and knows how to use space so much better, with a stinging jab and decent offensive skills which would never be confused with KO power or could even dictate the pace of a fight. He used baiting and movement to become the man he is.

Like I said- it is not open and shut. There is room to discuss it. They are such different fighters. I personally think Manny has more natural skills, but is prone to depend to much on what skills he has and can be sloppy. Mayweather is the more disciplined, polished fighter who perfected his craft and will never make mistakes.
