I rooted for GGG but he could barely budge Canelo in the two fights and in the 2nd fight he got walked down by him.A 3rd fight cannot be any better for a soon to be 37 on the decline.

Yep. Only fight i could see Jacobs sticking around for is Saunders and I doubt Eddie could make that.

Gennady talked soooooo much trash in the lead up to 2nd fight and got whooped on although it was still close. If Gennady thinks Canelo has some obligation to be respectful or fair...the dude has a lot of self-reflecting to do.

I hope they lowball Gennady significantly and offer a $5 mill flat fee. Him being a sourpuss is his own problem and he needs to own up to it after losing twice
Then he doesn't fight Canelo, and then what happens with DAZN?

I thought Saunders was with Frank Warren, no?

I thought this was one of the worst kept secrets in boxing.

The T-Mobile Arena is already joint booked under both teams promotion companies for that date.

The again, maybe he had these talks to try and get GGG over to DAZN because the rumours are coming out he's signing with PBC

              I disagree.

DAZN will pay over the odds for GGG to get him to fight on DAZN.

DAZN need subscribers, it's not PPV. A lot of people still don't know about DAZN, most casual fans don't and GGG v Canelo is still one of the very biggest fights in world boxing.

What better way to advertise DAZN than actually have a huge fight that people want to see and get people to register? It'd be the best advertising campaign they could do.

So from a business point of view, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pay both fighters very good money to make the fight and establish DAZN as platform with real huge events.

Like a day later they took out GGG promotions from it and the hold of the venue was from just GBP promotions.

I don't think this fight happens next but it would definitely be the best thing for DAZN. Jacobs is the likely fight for May and then they can try to make the GGG fight next.

Cant get excited for this, as was my narrative in the first two. One boxer is prime one is losing athletiscism/reflexes with each passing week. The only reason ggg pushed hard in both fights is focus and mental strength he hasnt at 37 got the physical attributes necessary to outdo, outwit or outfight a prime canelo.

Against lesser boxers like vanes he can hang but against elite competition the age disparity is more apparent and fight deciding.

Im a huge ggg fan but he's purely fighting for money nothing else at this stage.
