Comments Thread For: Pacquiao: No Problem With Arum; Went With Haymon For Fighters

Manny Pacquiao doesn't have any unresolved issues with former promoter Bob Arum. They don't have any financial issues or other matters to settle, according to Pacquiao.

"Pacquiao later decided to join one of Arum’s rivals, Al Haymon, by signing a contract to fight exclusively under the banner of Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions. Technically, Pacquiao still promotes himself."

So many fighters with Al Haymon seem to have their own promotions! I guess that's why so many fighters like Haymon, because he guides their business interests, and not just their fights!

        Arum is a clown

The only good promoter nowadays is Eddie Hearn

"I’m really thankful in my life that God used him to help me here in the United States." What an arrogant ****.

Technically Haymon is a manager not a promoter. It's illegal for him to be both, even though he really is.

I know Haymon is not a promoter, but many of his clients (Mayweather, Broner, Pacquiao, Spence, the Charlos) have their own promotion companies. I think that's cool to understand the game in the ring, and out of the ring! Too many of the great ones got ripped off from their hard earned wages, due to ignorance!

This is the route Crawford should have taken. Top Rank simply doesn’t have the fighters at 147.

Anyone know how Arum feels about this fight??... I'm sure one of these NET fools has hit up Bob in some sort of interview regarding this fight.

To bad Crawford didn’t wake up! And it’s great that finally Manny woke up! I know he’s just being PC but he should have been left Arum.
