Luis Ortiz was called the boogeyman of the division when fans felt like nobody would mention him to fight. Wilder got wind of this & understood the fans perspective. But not only that he said "oh ya'll think this dude is the goods like that, well let me get him in the ring cause I need somebody to earn my respect off of". The man went out of his way to fight a high risk low reward fight... Don't tell me about your favorite fighter being the best unless he cut from a cloth like that.

Demetrius Andrade is one of the most gifted fighters of this generation & one of the most avoided fighters of this era & I'm gonna keep saying it until I'm unequivocally proven wrong. & even if I did get proven wrong it still doesn't change what it was, meaning it still doesn't change that before Wilder fought Ortiz he was considered the boogeyman.

Since losing to Floyd in 2013, Canelo has only face 2 legit threats in Lara and GGG. Cotto, Jr. and Khan were just names. Everyone else on that list are nothing but bums. Canelo does have the best names on his record from everybody but lets not act like he's facing top fighters. It's easy for Canelo to have names on his resume because he can choose anyone out there to fight and they will take the fight. Andrade really has no names so he shouldn't even talk especially after he withdrew from the Charlo fight years ago.

Why would he have to sign to DAZN to fight Canelo. Oscar has said many times fighters don't need to sign to a network to fight Canelo. Haymon fighters like Chavez Jr. and Khan got the fight without signing to HBO.

who is the so called face of boxing? Who is the guy saying he considers himself #1 p4p? Who is the guy with the biggest contract in boxing ? Canelo. So because of those things, and his ability to control his career (including who he faces) more so than any other active boxer, he is held more accountable than others.
If Canelo doesn't fight a top guy next, it's not because nobody would agree to fight him, it's because he chose not to.

Is the same thing with GGG, DJ, DA, BJS & Charlo they could easily fight one another but they chose not to, because they know that by losing their "0" or their belt, it would most likely hinder their chance for their only and biggest payday, Canelo can only fight one guy at the time. (I hope is Jacobs as he is the most deserving and more accomplished of the bunch)

Who has Charlo even fought? Best win is over Williams. You know the same guy who almost lost to that journey man Smith. Jacobs is willing to fight Charlo, can't say the the same about Charlo. He wants that big pay day from Canelo to take his 0 away. He won't get that kind of money losing to Jacobs.

Who didnt Khan , Fielding, Smith beat to fight Canelo? Canelo wouldn't fight the Charlos at 154 when they were champs, he chose the weakest champ in Smith just like he chose the weakest so called champ in Rocky. Charlo moved up and vacated his title which put him in position to be a mandatory for a title, so he's in line for Canelo. I'm sure you have no problem with other fighters who vacate and move up and get titles shot right away. Who did Canelo beat at 160 or 168 to get title shots right away?

It seems like Golden boy is pushing lemiux to fight canelo but being a canelo fan is rather see him fight Jacobs rn. As much as I enjoy canelo making easy work of lesser opponents,I enjoy watching him rise to the occasion even more.
