who is the so called face of boxing? Who is the guy saying he considers himself #1 p4p? Who is the guy with the biggest contract in boxing ? Canelo. So because of those things, and his ability to control his career (including who he faces) more so than any other active boxer, he is held more accountable than others.
If Canelo doesn't fight a top guy next, it's not because nobody would agree to fight him, it's because he chose not to.

Yet they crucify Floyd for the same thing Canelo is doing, yet Floyd paid his dues and fought everyone he could to achieve that status. Canelo was handed that status because of his nationality.

Is the same thing with GGG, DJ, DA, BJS & Charlo they could easily fight one another but they chose not to, because they know that by losing their "0" or their belt, it would most likely hinder their chance for their only and biggest payday, Canelo can only fight one guy at the time. (I hope is Jacobs as he is the most deserving and more accomplished of the bunch)

it's not the same thing because Canelo more so than any of them can call his own shots. Ideally, it should be jacobs next while Andrade and charlo fight to determine who should fight the winner. I'm excluding ggg because at almost 37, I'm not too interested in him sticking around and would prefer the younger guys to get their shot. But again, if we end up with some trash like a lemieux fight, there's no defending Canelo because it'd be his choice not to face a top guy.

Jermell had a close fight cuz he was trying to hard to get the K.O. & Jermall who ALSO had a week notice CLEARLY beat Matvey Korobov who was ALREADY training for a fight on the same card that night.

Stop making excuses for the#CheatinCharlos. Even with the turbo juice, one showed how limited he is and got beat and the other won a debatable decision against a debatable contender.

as far as ducks he clearly avoided ggg for nearly 2 yrs while fighting 3 low level guys like khan, Smith and Chavez jr instead. Otherwise, I'd say that over the past 4 yrs he's been extremely selective with his opposition. When he went back to 154 to claim a title, both Charlos were available as champions, as was a well deserved rematch with lara. Instead he went for beefy Smith, by far the easiest option. More recently he went up to 168 to "make history" and again chose the weakest option in the division as far as "champions" go with rocky. Now let's see what happens in May.

The longer you are a boxing fan the more you realize people use old re-hashed irrelevant things to defend certain people. "Oh he's a multi division champ", "Oh he's beat more names (which a lot of times are just names people are familiar with), "he hasn't done nothing to earn the fight". They always say this shlt when you're a threat! Who has Canelo unequivocally beat that Andrade can't??? I'll wait. Canelo has done strategic things to increase his popularity but none of that means he's more talented then Andrade, all that other shlt means nothing.

Andrade wanted to fight BJS off a 1yr layoff & BJS testing positive!! Wake the *** up people. But people gonna act like he don't wanna fight the names?? How sway? Ya'll allow these people to hide behind the fact they speak little English; so that they never have to mention them. GGG & Canelo can just pretend Andrade doesn't exist due to popularity. Canelo never had to rematch none of his close fights except GGG due to popularity. In order to not be one of the people who Roger Mayweather talked about when he said MPDKSAB, you have to care about intangibles. So don't tell me Canelo beat Khan without telling me, Khan has a nearly 1 yr layoff, a career glass jaw, & had to move up over 1 weight class.

You can't name a "name" Andrade hasn't adamantly called for from 154-160!! You got certain guys who adamantly only call for money guys, fighters like Lemeiux who do that. But Lemeiux didn't wanna fight Andrade. SMFH Andrade calling out any ***in name cash cow or not!

You mean Canelo's and Lara's left overs? He has one signature win and that was Williams, who only a handful bought the hype around that clown. Canelo came and fought the top dog at MW unlike Charlo who has fought who at MW? A couple of nobodies and looked awful against a guy on 2 weeks notice. Sorry but with 0 fanbase he will get his shot when he gets it, he calls no shots.

Lets be real, if Canelo was in Charlo's position, he wouldn't of gotten the top dog at MW right away. Charlo is not Canelo and can't just pick who he fights. Canelo brings in the money and can pick anyone to fight, he can go to LHW and choose any of the champions and they will say yes. Charlo vacated and and the sanctioning bodies should had him be a mandatory for one of titles right away. Crawford vacated 140 and was a mandatory for title in his first fight at 147. I can name a bunch of fighters who vacated a title to move up and became a mandatory for a title right away. Charlo didnt get that chance because the sanctioning bodies want that Canelo/GGG money. Why do you think the WBC changed their tune when Charlo was to become a mandatory to the WBC title, because they wanted Canelo/GGG 2 just like they want CAnelo/GGG 3.

Andrade is very skilled middleweight with a lot of potential. But let's be honest here, the guy hasn't really fought anybody of note to have earned a shot at Canelo at this point in time. I am not a Canelo fan at all but if I were in his position I would not entertain Andrade until he proves himself against the upper tier guys at 160.

Jacobs, GGG and Charlo are in a much better position to demand a fight with Canelo right now. I think GGG and Jacobs are 50/50 fights against Canelo and I used to think the same about Charlo until he got outboxed by an old, inactive Matt Korobov.
