Never a fan of ODLH above ww. I'd pick Nelo to win a spirited UD.

I would go with Oscar by UD. Just outboxes Canelo and beats him to the punch.
Oscar would take a dive, he ain’t risking beating the cash cow of GBP.😂😂

In all seriousness, I’d probably take Oscar by decision, faster hands and better footwork. I’d worry about Canelo’s bodywork though, that could definitely trouble De La Hoya.

Yeah that's possibly unfair but he did fight numerous times as a JM above the limit. Upfront I don't hate the guy but I don't like him.

as a jmw he fought lara , kirkland and angulo at 155 with no titles on the line, i doubt that any of those guys was harmed by allowing them selves an extra pound at the weighin ... he made 154 again when a title was on the line (liam smith), fighting cotto and khan with a 160 title on the line at a limit of 155 was more beneficial for those guys than it was for canelo, fighting at 160 would have been too much for those two vs someone as strong as canelo... i still think that fighting khan was a bad joke regardless of the weight...

Oscar who fought Mosley and Vargas gets the UD. Canelo gets outboxed from the outside. Too flat footed and mostly effective at midrange, Oscar sticks his jab and flurries, as his footwork keeps him away from Nelo's counters

He fought the guys in their prime, win or lose.

I never said he beat guys in their primes, but Trinidad, Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Hopkins were all in their primes when he fought them, and he was even past his when he fought Mayweather & Pacquiao.

Oscar wins decision. He is a notch above Canelo.

Canelo at 154 was not prime. Oscar at 154 is past his prime. There are 2 weight divisions between them. At 160, I'll go with Canelo.

DLH. He's taller and longer, fast hands, and has power.

People overrates Canelo's power. Canelo KO's either naturally smaller fighters or C-level fighters of the same weight.

DLH hurts bigger opponents. And I dont think Canelo will fire than liver punch against a quick handed DLH.
