Canelo should stay away from Benavidez(not saying he can’t beat him)David is a just a monster, but anyone else at 168 canelo beats.

Canelo looked very good against a lesser opponent in Fielding but all these guys that aren't on the level will get found out pretty quickly.
        Canelo/GGG 168.
        Make it happen.

It's a good fight. Canelo looked good at 168 but Smith is massive at the weight and demolished Fielding in a round. Both are excellent body punchers too. Smith handled a very good George groves with ease and I think he can beat Canelo.

--- Tend to think the Rocky fight was the grease to secure a big SM fight down the road.

And yes, Rocky was ranked in top 10 by Ring and boxrec, but that means nothing as far as taking on Callum.

Rocky was Canelo MSG debut. Does he want a Wembley 90,000 stadium debut and would Callum fill the numbers?

We shall see soon enough what the new year brings.

Smith isn't really an SMW if you ask me, he's really a light heavyweight, possibly even cruiser. Fielding is mostly a lanky SMW, Smith is taller, broader across the shoulders and more muscular. When they fought, Smith honestly dwarfed him and destroyed him in one round. He made George Groves look puny too.

He's not a soft-bodied target like Fielding was, he's a unit that honestly probably doesn't belong at that weight. Canelo is surely more skilful but you can only overcome so much with skills alone.

Callum Smith clearly outboxes Canelo, only to get robbed on the cards. Even in England, he'd get robbed. Fighting Canelo at this point is basically getting paid to take an L.

So why should they fight as Fielding as decided Canelo is better, so lets break this down. Fielding gets stopped in one round by Smith and Canelo takes 3 rounds and he says Canelo.

Technically Canelo is superior but he would struggle with the size, I believe Smith is 6ft3 and unlike Fielding wont be a punch-bag coming for a pay-check.

Callum is the best out of the Smith brothers by quite some distance. Dont think he would take out Canelo (who is clearly very durable) but has enough power and a significant size advantage to cause Canelo problems. Would favour Smith slightly.
