How could they even consider him as a candidate when he spent 3 months of the year suspended for PED abuse?

#YDKSAB then. GGG should have gotten the nod in the first fight, but Canelo clearly won the rematch. I don't want to hear any more b.s. opinions about it. Those are the plain facts that should be obvious to anyone who knows anything about the sport.

In any other sport but boxing, that cheating kunt would still be banned from competition.

He lost both. His political and big money backing saved his arse twice. Majority of fans/writers/boxers had him losing both fights. Deal with it.

I could accept a draw for the second fight, but Canelo didn't deserve a win. He got another gift, and anybody who knows anything about boxing knows that is the truth.

Idk good point. But what he did accomplish he did it clean right? So what about that?

no he didn't. hence the controversy. ggg landed the better shots especially down the stretch and blocked a lot of canelos flashy shots. that was not a good decision. draw maybe but didnt clearly win

how was he clean? he tested positive before the fight lol. the only thing we know for certain is he roided after the first fight and before the second. did he roid for other fights? probably but we dont know for certain. how is this spun into he was clean narrative? even if he didnt do anymore roids after february(doubtful) the gains from doing them still remain. they dont just go away ooo you caught me i surrender all my muscle gains lol

A dude that pops for peds should automatically be taken of even considering him for this award.
