We’ll get to see crazg KOs, good fights, etc etc that would always go unmentioned except for the odd shout out on sho or hbo where they say there was a tremendous KO or fight or something.

I love it to be honest
LOL. Showtime has been showing prelim undercard fights for years. Not the whole thing, but at least 2-3 fights in addition to what's on the main telecast.

That's more than enough for me. I don't need to see "crazy KOs" where it looks like one of the fighters has never boxed before. I don't need to see one-sided mismatches featuring up and coming contenders slaughtering guys who shouldn't even be licensed. Would be better for the sport if those fights went away entirely.

That’s a regular undercard youre talking about though.

Whether you want to see mismatches or not doesnt mean it’s not happening and has always happened, even at the highest of levels.

Let’s be real, even world champs in the current landscape are in borderline terrible mismatches more often than not. Danny vs Salka? Wtf lol. Horn vs Mundine?

If the guys made it to the card, I like having the ability to see them fight. Of course it’ll be a blow out if it’s a prospect. But then again, a legitimate prospect is likely part of the regular undercard as it is.

There’s no reason NOT to televise them. The regular main card doesnt start til after anyway, why not air what’s happening at the event?

It’s not like HBO taking out two hours extra of HBO content where maybe there’s a good movie you’re missing.

Throw those guys on, a good fight might develop and sometimes does between guys who are only there/booked to get into a firefight.

      They deserve their shine too.

Gives me something to watch/listen to in the background on those random ass times before anything good is on — when I’m grilling, cooking, hanging out with the fam, etc.

Gives us a chance to see fighters as they develop further and we’re able to see how they looked early on where we typically cant find video of most guy. Maybe some of those guys develop into world champs, etc.

      No reason to not televise
