I feel like he won all 3 fights he was given a loss for on his record personally.

Lara deserved the win vs Canelo, plain and simple. It was a close fight, but both the punch stats and Lara making Canelo look ****** so often should have decided it. Many of Canelo's shots didn't even land. As usual, one judge gave basically all the rounds to Canelo. Reminded me of the one judge calling Canelo vs Floyd a draw. Paying judges must cost GBP a lot of money.
No denying it Lara won. I like both guys but Lara made Canelo miss a lot and Lara landed more punches. It is what it is though.

“Fighters don’t avoid other fighters,” said Lara. “It’s the politics that determine that.”

I've felt that way but i do think a few fighters duck but most will fight anybody but it's their team that advises them to go in a different direction.

It's interesting to read the comments about lara from Canelo fans. Everyone knows that lara is a pure boxer and it was up to Canelo to make lara uncomfortable. The same way it was up to pac to make mayweather uncomfortable and fight his style of fight. Despite Canelo perceived pressure, lara still outlanded Canelo and made him miss. Canelo was 9/183 in jabs landed. Canelo needed to make lara fight his type of fight and he couldn't. Angulo and Hurd applied effective pressure and those fights were more exciting than any Canelo fight I've seen. Canelo was just fortunate enough to have the judging go his way... As usual.

He legitimately lost to Hurd tho. Just because a fight isn't a landslide doesn't mean there wasn't a clear victory.

If that's the case he wouldn't have said Andrade priced himself out to fight him. His statement isn't entirely true.
The bottom line is its about paying the mortgage and maximising the short window of income, not because fighters are cowards. Any fight can end their life and they all know it.

There is NOTHING in common with how Lara fought Canelo and how Canelo fought GGG. Only idiots who know nothing about boxing would make that connection. Canelo while backing up was the bigger harder puncher in addition to making GGG miss. He actually outlanded GGG in power shots. How the phuk you running when you outland your opponent in power shots and literally lay on the ropes for 1/3 of the fight inviting your opponent in? Lara literally sprinted from Canelo all night landed virtually the same total punches as Canelo but was doubled up in power shots. You had insane low output from both guys because Lara ran staying out of range for himself and Canelo. 1 guy landed the occasional pot shot jab going in reverse running away from a fight while the other guy coming forward trying to make the fight pressing the action landing the occasional power shot. Sure there were close rounds only by default because there was little exchange of punches. But when they did it was Lara's jab vs Canelo's power punches and Canelo coming forward trying to fight vs Lara running away from one.

Not sure who would win either of those fights tbh. Kinda feel bad for Lara because he should have gotten a win over Paul Williams without an inkling of doubt because it was a landslide, and should have gotten no worse than draw against Alvarez. I'm curious where GGG goes as Loeffler already said they won't fight Charlo..

Yeah i understand. But i took him to mean boxers dont avoid each other as in being physically scared, like the wallys on this site imply. Politics can probably be interpreted to include shrewd career business decisions, as in not taking a fight that's not worth the risk, career wise.
