The flak Joshua cops is one of the most bizarre things I have ever witnessed in the boxing world, something about the internet generation. Must be completely mind ****ed and brainwashed or something, it just has to be crazy bias. Joshua, Loma, Usyk, Golovkin. All great fighters that should be cherished just get bagged left, right and centre.

Who has Whyte ever beat that was elite?

And I don't even see the guy who joshua beat to become champion on your list. So I assume that you consider Martin trash.

Joshua beating wlad is the only fight that matters out of the 6 you named. History won't remember povetkin, parker, takam, Brezeale
So if those guys aren't elite... Or more to the point, if those guys weren't considered elite when he fought them... who is elite? How deep does it go?

Because they've all been top 10, maybe even top 5 fighters. Some of them were unbeaten. Some never been stopped. He's cleaned them all out.

Joshua's resume is missing one fight. And he's only just turned 29 with just six years as a pro.

Whether he can win that one fight is up for debate, but you can't argue with what he's done at this point in his career. It's hugely impressive.

I can tell the haters are spitting feathers with this thread but this is what I’ve been saying. The flack he gets is ridiculous I don’t get how you can say “aj chooses the path of least resistance” with a straight face when comparing resumes. The way people talk you’d think it was wilder who first put on a pair of boxing gloves the year Joshua turned pro and not the opposite.

AJ does have a good resume for the time he's been pro.

That said, it still doesn't make up for the fact he's not too keen on fighting the very top fighters right now and would rather recycle an old opponent.

Fury has better wins. AJ has more names, but some of them are old and mostly B or C Level.

Nothing can take away the fact his best win by far is still a Fury leftover, who was also inactive and 41.

Don't get me wrong I think Fury's the better fighter, though hopefully that gets decided in the ring. But...

Fury has only the same win as Joshua. A bit of time on Wlad but I saw a good Klitschko in the ring that night.

I also think Fury beat Wilder (who I don't rate, but he's clearly still a top heavyweight), but if you leave it to the judges you take your chances.

AJ's resume still better on all fronts in my opinion.

--- On the timeline of greats, Josh a more mature age, yet having defeated better overall comp than most.

6 more fights of success and he can retired on top of most in the pantheon.

Nobody gets better at 41. You saw a "Better" Wlad because AJ is orthodox and stiff. If Wlad was a bit younger, AJ would've been tailor made for him, stylistically. Wlad had way too much experience not to be competitive with a stationary target like AJ.

Fury beat a younger and better Wlad, one that was active and still dominating the division but still on the decline at almost 40.

It came from the horses mouth.

Hearn Interview: We have made a great offer for Wilder, 20 million Guarantee and first fight at the U.K and even if WIlder loses to Joshua, he will get an immediate rematch in the U.S.

Wilder: IF WE DONT GET FURY, WE WILL FIGHT BREAZLE NEXT (NOT GOING TO FIGHT AJ)

At what point did Joshua did anything that would say that he is ducking Wilder? As soon as the oppurtunity came for a Wlad fight, he took it, as soon as the oppurtunity for a unification with J.P came, he took it.

Povetkin, whom Wilder cried about why he is fighting him in Russia, took the fight, and who is better than anything in Wilder's resume.

I think he has the best wins in the fewest pro fights of any heavyweight today.

I see josh similar to lomachenko in that they done a lot with fewcfights. Lomachenlo had done so much but no one had him No1 Pfp until recently.
Fury is No1 but the cool thing is only until josh his ready to face fury. Then josh can stop fury in 10 rounds or win points.
