Out of the big 3 or 4 Heavyweights, Anthony Joshua has the best resume.

And I will say it again? Wladimir Kiltschko was vividly in better condition physically and technically when he fought Anthony Joshua! In comparison to Tyson Fury.

Much weaker guys have got a shot, why not whyte?
      Breazeale
      Molina
      Washington
      Takam
      Ortiz
      Spilka
      Arreloa.

Whyte is far better all these guys above. So what's the problem?
Whyte would lose to at least half those guys.

He's awful. Sloppy, out of shape with poor boxing fundamentals.

All of these are included now admittedly I don't know the split but neither do you and we've not heard complaints from Wilder so...
Joshua is begging...but you don't know if he is begging Wilder to take another low ball offer.

Wilder is not complaining...but you forget that Hearn said they both agreed to keep negotiations out the media.

Here is what I have noticed, not one single Joshualite has addressed the fact that the stated opinion of Whyte, a UK boxer promoted by Hearn, agrees with that of many fans, especially the Wilderites. No one is attacking Whyte like the posters who previously stated that same opinion got attacked.

The KO saved him from dropping out of sight.

People say Ortiz is old, slow, and brings nothing, but they still continue to duck him even though he is ranked in the top 5. AJ's two best wins are 40 yr old guys. Must be a reason they don't want to fight Ortiz, other than his age. Is Miller much more accomplished than him? or Breazeale? of Molina?

Whyte listed his five potential candidates, and none of them were Ortiz. Whyte uses the same excuse to not consider Usyk. Hopefully Whyte will piss Hearn off enough to put him in with Ortiz.
Nice comments, great contributions of opinion but on the contrary boxing is no charity sport.
Ortiz has to put himself in a position to get top 10 fights. He has a management, they can as well send out contracts to others and try to make a fight on their own.

You can't always be on undercards and claim top 10 guys are ducking you.

Make yourself viable. infact, nobody knew Ortiz until wilder loss. All thanks to wilder fans hyping ortiz to try and make wilder have a solid win in his resume.

            Ortiz needs to step up.

But keep comparing resumes. Nobody gives a ****. AJ fans keep screaming how he’s the a side and how he has a better resume, but end of the day he ducked the wilder fight, and no matter how many times you say the word “resume” that won’t change.
Come on man, its clear fact that Joshua has been fighting higher calibre fighters for a lot of his relatively short Pro-career and that is something that Whyte, Fury, Wilder and Miller cannot get close to. Its just plain fact. Its undeniable.

You cannot categorically say that Joshua ducked the Wilder fight considering the amount of BS that is coming out of Wilder's noise hole. Nobody other than Wilder, Joshua, Finkel, Haymon and Hearn will be able to give anything close to the truth about what has happened and what is happening now.

Its all conjecture until a verified contract offer comes out into the public domain. Until then, all of the different rhetoric's are separated by opinion.

You know I'm a Joshua fan and in my opinion, he is the A side but imo, just give Fury or Wilder 50/50 split and then we can put this all to bed.

But he is relevant and rated highly by those who have the knowledge of current boxing to rate fighters.

                That's what matters.

I really agree with all of this. If I was Ortiz, I would be embarrassed about how long it took to take Travis Kauffman out.

There is nothing about Ortiz that makes me think he would take out the top 3 despite his good performance against Wilder.

Just like everyone thought Fury should have been embarrassed for going 12 against Pianiata.

Sometimes guys want rounds. Especially when on the comeback trail like Fury was and Ortiz is.
