But keep comparing resumes. Nobody gives a ****. AJ fans keep screaming how he’s the a side and how he has a better resume, but end of the day he ducked the wilder fight, and no matter how many times you say the word “resume” that won’t change.

A simple Google search would show his 29th opponent hadn't won a fight in two years and that was why Finkel took it. Stiverne hasn't had one memorable win in his entire career either so no matter how you make pointless rants on here at the end of the day Wilder agreed to the contract then claimed to lose his pen.

You can't claim someone ducked if that person who is Wilder has the ability to prevent the duck with a simple signature otherwise it is reversed and the accuser then becomes the avoider himself. Do you see how this works ? Probably not you're a Wilder cheerleader.

The only duck here was Wilders pen , must have grew legs and ran away ?Here's to hoping you upgrade your troll level this year, I look forward to it !

Realistically, if he wanted to fight Wilder... after Wilder came over with the $50 million he still didn’t want to fight him. He had whatever excuse he had for why the Wilder fight didn’t happen. First he said he wanted to fight Tyson Fury before Tyson Fury came back.

He did mention that he thought AJ wanted the fight, but his team didn't. Pretty much what many of us have been saying all along.
It's funny how AJ was definitely fighting Whyte next and how much of a bum Whyte is and as soon as there's a slight rumour that AJ isn't facing him Whytes a super dangerous fighter and AJ is ducking him because of it. Also remember people saying AJ won't fight Miller as he was too dangerous and now he's a bum.

I bet you change your tune again when AJ does end up fighting Whyte.

that's pretty clear by now. AJ wants to make all the money he can before facing bigger opponents and lose leverage in case he gets defeated. It sucks but understandable.

not that Whyte is that big of a threat though...

Everyone knows the deal, including Lennox Lewis, Fury, and Whyte!

6 of one 1/2 a dozen of the other

The walls seem to be closing in around Joshua as the number of potential contenders step up the rhetoric and apply the media pressure.

As we wade through the murky waters it becomes increasingly difficult to gain some perspective of where we are in the saga of heavyweight boxing.

Anthony Joshua is the king of the division but the emperors new clothes no longer hypnotise the buying public. It’s a game of thrones with each king and potential king vying for position all attempting to stake their claim

It’s can be said that until the big 3 Joshua/Wilder/Fury fight the undisputed champion cannot be determined.

It’s fair to say that Joshua may be looking for an easier fight. However the same question will circulate, is it money? Is it legacy? Can both be achieved? It’s in Joshuas hands to decide which path he takes and that’s the challenge of being king or #1 how to manage your reign? Will he take a risk? And more importantly when will he take the risk?

The champion indeed must become accustomed to scrutiny and challenges will come from all corners, however to consolidate his position he must fight a credible opponent

Dillian Whyte can either wait for the call or continue on his own path. One thing is clear Joshua can run but can’t hide from his critics and as he turns to lesser opponents to keep that gravy train going he may begin to notice the biscuit wheels have fallen off.

Sometimes you get the big fight cuz you got the resume that supports you getting it. Sometimes you get the big fight cuz you got media & pundits ranking you highly off of your potential & performances that supports you getting it.

No question that the latter more often results in mismatched fights than the former, but sometimes it ends up being the guys coming out party too win or lose.
I think Joshua vs. Miller is good idea, and for one reason in particular! To keep Miller from going back to PBC! If you look at Miller and Jacobs' opponents, while with MatchRoom, Hearn has basically done nothing with them! I know they both hate hearing about big fights at Barclay's, and they're in none of them! At least Jacobs got to fight Dervy! Big Baby is still nobody, and he should be a star in Brooklyn!

I personally don't care who AJ fights if it isn't Wilder or Fury or Ortiz. Everyone else is at a lower level in my opinion. I put Whyte and Miller about the same, with Whyte having a better resume. Whyte showed he is slightly above gatekeeper status being behind Chisora late in the fight. The KO saved him from dropping out of sight.

People say Ortiz is old, slow, and brings nothing, but they still continue to duck him even though he is ranked in the top 5. AJ's two best wins are 40 yr old guys. Must be a reason they don't want to fight Ortiz, other than his age. Is Miller much more accomplished than him? or Breazeale? of Molina?

Whyte listed his five potential candidates, and none of them were Ortiz. Whyte uses the same excuse to not consider Usyk. Hopefully Whyte will piss Hearn off enough to put him in with Ortiz.

Breazeale and Molina were chosen by haymon. He had options on him after the Martin fight.

Hearn was so convinced Fury v Wilder would never take place .Reason being the Hearns don't, dare not take risks ...(accountants don't) ...trouble is all that talk and nonsense about making the Wilder fight BEFORE Dec 1st (lol) for April 13th and now nobody knows what the *** is going off with their show on April 13th ...looks more like that might not go ahead.

Whyte will move on and become a peoples champion much like Tyson has become and leave Joshua to the muppets (like Barry Hearn) who are not bothered who he fights just as long as he gets the win....PATHETIC!
