Khan could have finally brought a big fight to the UK. His biggest moments came in America.

A domestic fight for the biggest purse against a guy who has been disrespecting you for damn near a decade and you still don't fight?

khan is who I thought he was.

And Eddie Hearn is the worst for even signing khan to a 3 fight deal without a guarantee for the 3rd fight to be brook. As long as nobody lost before the 3rd fight.

Eddie ended up with 2 tune ups on matchroom and a b side on a top rank ppv.

He wasted 3 fights on Amir

"And no, that is not to make it out that he’s ducking the Sheffield star. You cannot be avoiding a lesser fighter to take on a more dangerous one, that argument is futile."

      Great Point!!!

This is the fight I'm looking forward to most, that's been made so far

This is a great fight. Khan owes Kell Brook nothing. I think it's smart business on Khans part. I am by no means a Khan fan but let's face it if he loses to Crawford he would just need to beat another b or c level fighter which hes done many times and the Brook fight would still do huge numbers. If he fights Brook now and loses he can kiss his career at the top goodbye. If he beats Crawford that would propel him to the very top and do wonders for his legacy. Even if he has a good showing like Linares had against Loma that will do wonders for his career. His speed will make it a good fight.

Also hes better off negotiating for the Brook fight not being signed to Hearn. It's obvious Brook desperately wants this fight and Hearn would have to cough up more money for someone who isn't under contract already.

Khan's just playing the numbers. He figures if he loses to Brook he won't get any Crawford offers later, but if he loses to Crawford, like with Canelo, he can then back into a Brook fight carrying enough credibility of only losing to one of the top P4P guys. ie 2 paydays, which is what its all about.

Question to really answer is why Top Rank can give him 5m to fight Crawford. That means there are enough people around willing to pay for this fight to be able to cover Khan's purse, and Crawford's, and also have some left over for the Bobfather. Just like there were enough people around to pay for Mayweather/McGregor and any other circus fights - while that continues, we will continue to get circuses. As long as there are enough people to enable these fights by being willing to shell out cash for them, they will continue - just the way it is.

So expect Khan to get blown out by Crawford, then final payday vs Brook afterwards (as enough people will still be willing to pay for it).

Khan couldn't get Floyd or Mayweather. Crawford is pretty good name on his resume. I think if he loses this he knows he's not elite then we will never hear from him an again.

Khan is a decent name that will give a potential PPV star like Crawford, the highlight real knockout that they can replay over and over again to attract the casuals. That's why Khan is still getting the big paydays lol

Regardless of what happens against Crawford there is no way he doesn't fight Brook. Khan can be a schmuck sometimes but he is prideful and knows how important it is for his legacy. Fighting Crawford first is simply good business
