Do you think the Charlos' inactivity is taking it's toll?

Or they're just relegated to the types of fights they're currently fighting?
Frankly, I don't see them improving until they become really active.

Not really, I never thought they were good to begin with. They're at the same level as guys like Vanes Martirosyan and Austin Trout. I would totally expect them to have a close fight with a primer Ishe Smith. I mean Tony Harrison just had a split decision win over Smith in his fight before Charlo.

    They young doe.

No. They are just as active as many other boxers these day. I think they were overrated by many of their fans. They both overrated themselves with loud angry speeches about being lions who would KO everyone. They are both good fighters but not nearly as good as they claimed to be. Somebody in power made Jermall a middleweight champion without ever fighting a legit top 15 world rated middleweight. Jermall is a proven champion at 154 but not at 160.

These guys were never as good as the their fans made them out to be. It's crazy how hyped they were. I mean these guys would probably struggle with the likes of vanes or Willie Monroe jr

One of them did struggle with Vanes lol. I scored that fight a draw. Two of the judges had it 96-94.

Andrade is another guy who isn't as good as a lot of people want him to be, who also struggled with Vanes.

            This right here.

They bought the hype. Iirc, those brothers actually opened a boxing academy when they were in their early-mid 20s and still up-and-coming.

That to me came off as quite a bit arrogant.

Inactivity isn't the problem just like berto they were too protected and it stunted their growth they had no problem calling out the top fighters crying about being ducked but never tried fighting the guys in the middle and it ruined their developmental stage

All these young fighters who aren't fighting give or take every 5 or 6 months at least are doing themselves a disservice I believe. These 8, 9 & 11 month type layovers are never a good thing for prime or pre-prime boxers.

Especially when its a regular schedule thing. Cuz sometimes sh^t just might go down perfectly wrong with fight talks, TV scheduling & injuries & keep you out longer than you wanna be out one year.

Older fighters seem to do better with those longer layoffs & I tend to prefer them not fighting more than 3 times every 2 years or something more in line with 8+mos between fights. I think it takes older bodies longer to recover from the demands in training camp or too have too many training camps in closer timeframes & the fight itself obviously.

USA market often promotes these guys as the next big thing to impressionable young thugs and make bank in doing so.

These guys who dont fight ofen or dont fight a high enough quality of opponent dont learn half as much as they should be doing, they are losing out on seriously important experience. They will gain an impressive record without an impressive resume and these guys are still green when they are beig expected to face real quality.

It can be frustrating because sometimes these guys have some serious natural talent that that experience would polish but they are left stunted as a fighter because of the protection and the slow progress.
