Groves beats this version of DeGale, and he beat him already, I wanna see Eubank get f***ed up too but see him pulling off an upset. DeGale was wise taking this fight for a tonne of money rather than risking it all for a crappy pay day and a mandatory. He is close to the end. Let's see how it plays out.

He had a world title...why did he drop his IBF belt after reclaiming it from Truax ?

      Ducked Uzcategui..

Retirement is a factor that a lot of boxers talk about before they actually hang em up. Doesn't mean that they will lose. Ward talked so before Kov 2. So did Bellend before Haye 2. Floyd retired for like a month or three before signing to face Oscar.

Let the man map out his plans to his fans. Ruling him out of a win just because of that is not advisable

I think the injury help played a part as well.

At that time Benavidez was the champ so I'm guessing that's who Degale would have gotten his shot against. And he still may after Dirrell wins the vacant title and defends it against Benavidez.

After his Traux performances it was clear why he vacated the belt. A guy fighting at that form gets stopped easily against Uzcategui.

I was watching an interview of Degale's recently and he said on top of his shoulder injury, he's had an Achilles injury for years that really started to both him the last few weeks. The man looks like a broken fighter. While he is much more skilled than Eubank, he may just not have enough left in the tank. Then he would have retired going 0-2 against his main domestic rivals which will eat him up for the rest of his life.
I completely agree Degale is shot to pieces and I don’t have any issue with him fighting Eubank for more money.

My comment was about Haymon, I don’t like how he pulls all the strings but has no accountability for anything and clearly lives in a grey area with regards to the Ali Rule.

What accountability are you looking for here anyways?

I’m just jaded by the corruption in the sport that’s all. The regular fan has no idea how crooked it all is still, nothing can be pinned on Haymon but it’s obvious he’s a major player in it all, but is not even officially responsible for anything in boxing, just an advisor. We’re just dumb ass punters to the guys that run the sport, I guess i’m just over it.

If Eubank wins it won’t be a upset , Inwas checking the odds today and Eubank is a slight favourite for the fight which suprised me

I guess the oddsmakers don’t really think Degeale has to much left in the tank at this point
